We loved staying at Lovna Residence. The staff went above and beyond, the location was outstanding with great walks around and also very close to Devin. The room was lovely, warm, clean and tidy. The food there was also great with all homemade natural bio products. I can’t wait to stay there again, highly recommend it. Also very peaceful and tranquil

everything has been very nice. Starting from the room that is well equipped, and good quality amenities, the entire hotel is very clean. The restaurant has been the best in the village. The present in the room with the complimentary fruit plate and the personalized message was a big surprise. Thanks to the Team which has been professional and educated....all includes from the first step to the last. The program organized for the March 3rd was amazing.

Very nice hotel with quiet, clean, tidy rooms, friendly, helpful and polite staff. There is a spa center for relaxation. All these at a very reasonable price. I recommend it for vacations if you wish to take a break, run from the busy daily life and "recharge your batteries" 🙂

Breakfast was great. Location was soso. The spa area was simple, but nice. Water warm, but not hot. Good for swimming and warm enough to stay in the water for quite a while. Everything was very clean. Also had two saunas, which was nice. Bathroom in the room was great, with bubbles. There was a bad smell from the drain. The room was very spacious and comfortable, but simple, which did not bother us. The BEST thing by far about the place was the staff. SOOO kind and friendly.

The warm mineral water, fresh air and abundance of forests around are ideal for a relaxing family holiday. Furthermore, the proximity to natural features such as gorges and caves of extraordinary beauty, traditional villages and the good cuisine, add to the attractiveness of the area. Visiting the Yagodinska and Devil's throat caves, the villages of Shiroka laka and Gela, and a dinner at Little Italy restaurant in Devin are must do.

Good location near centre. a bit challenging to locate or...

Good location near centre. a bit challenging to locate or contact host. Key required to enter or exit main door - a safety concern. Lots of ventilation and clean unit. Kitchen is a bit sparse, limted to a frying pan.

Strulitsa Eco-path, the water falls and nature!!!. Many options for food near the Bus station. It is also close to the other villages that have other eco-paths as well, though the schedules are limited, you will need to plan unless you own a car

The town is set among beautiful mountain surroundings.

The town is set among beautiful mountain surroundings. It has a large cental pedestrianised area, which is lovely and chilled out. Within a 30-40 minute drive, there are some popular caves, of which Yagodinska is poorly managed so you may not be able to see the inside. Restaurants are somewhat hit and miss, even if you go for ones wth decent online ratings. As a rule, I would suggest selecting the local dishes, as they're less likely to go wrong.

Charming small town in the heart of the Rodopi mountain.

Charming small town in the heart of the Rodopi mountain. Great place for short or long holiday. Child friendly eco path Struilica. I don’t recommend the waterfall for small children unless you want to carry them on your back 20 min up the hill and same down. We made that mistake and the parents and the children had to skip the beauty of the remaining path which they could have easily walked. Nice swimming pool with hot mineral water at the beginning of the eco path. We ate at Royal restaurant- the prices were good and food was tasty. Attitude of the waiters could be improved.

The new spa area was good, the whole hotel was beautiful and we really enjoyed the view. The water was good and i liked the fact that the water outside was also hot, something like 30 degrees, but i was really looking for a hot spring outside that was 40-45 degrees or more, but it wasn't like in the ad on the picture during the winter...i guess there is no such place in BG. For my brother the water was fine. The ladies in the old spa were very nice and the massage guy was nice.

This guest house is a very cosy place situated about 500 metres from the centre of Devin. It's very clean and tidy, with a stunning mountain view through the windows and balconies. The kitchen is fully-equipped and has all the amenities one needs. The hosts were very welcoming and kind. They're close by and willing to help, if need be. We look forward to staying here again and recommend it to anyone planning to stay in Devin!

There was a problem with the room we had booked because some of the detail on the booking.com website were misleading. The very friendly and helpful host overcame the problem by giving us two separate rooms at no extra cost. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and well equipped and the view across Devin from the balcony was breathtaking. The location was perfect for visiting a beautiful part of a beautiful country.
