This hotel was a big surprise, very very good! The location e and beach couldn't be better in Rio. The restaurants and room quality is outstanding! Loved every minute. I hope next time I can get a bigger room, because I try to make an upgrade and it was full.

The hotel was built in 1949. One can enjoy—as I did—the glow from a past era in Brazilian history—marble and dark wood furnishings— and personnel who do everything possible to keep tradition alive.
