Hotel is lovely and very well maintained. Location - wanted something a little away from the central area and it was great because it was not too far away but not too close either to the main market etc. Nice and quiet. Room - Was very nice, bright and sunny, clean ,comfortable,great heating , decor was great too.Our view from the balcony was nice both in the day and the night. Loved hanging out there. Bathroom- Very clean and amazing shower. Food - tried many things on the menu it was all good. Staff - everyone was very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Mr loden the owner , he helped us a lot and also the Supervisor Mr Tshering . We got help with getting a taxi ,planing our trips and much more.

The staff were extremely friendly and cordial. Breakfast was excellent. Delicious food and menu. They also have a terrace where you can spend time enjoying a scenic mountain view. The hotel room is equipped with a heater among all the modern amenities. They attended to our every need. Highly recommended for family & solo travellers.

City Hotel Thimphu has very spacious rooms with a lot of wood, very cozy and comfortable. Staff is excellent, very friendly and helpful. Any outside travels were arranged with outside drivers with no mark-up for the hotel. When we had cause to celebrate, a good prosecco (we live in Italy) was arranged at the lowest cost possible. I'd very warmly recommend the hotel to anyone staying in Thimphu for work or leisure.

The BD Hotel's breakfast and dinner were excellent. The dinning room area is comfortable, well lit, and clean. The food was fresh, well prepared. Importantly, server Mr. Sajan provide top service, friendless, and professionalism, this made my experience pleasant.

Everything! It was one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. Everything ws new and clean and comfortable. The bed was so comfy I did not want to get out in the morning. It is PERFECTLY located where I could look at the mountains as well as walk 10 mins to a quaint and picturesque square. Lunch and dinner were delicious! The STAFF were AMAZING. So very helpful. ...especially the young man at the front (whose name I wrote but lost! ) I would HIGHLY recommend the Willows Hotel! I will definitely stay here again.

    Thimpu and Paro are very beautiful, scenic and one can spend a number of days. The SDF charged by the govt of Rs 1200 per person per night + mandatory guide + vehicle is a limiting factor for tourists

    A Truly Amazing Stay in Thimphu! Our experience at this resort was absolutely wonderful! The location is stunning, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. The rooms were clean, spacious, and beautifully designed — a perfect blend of comfort and elegance. The staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to help with a smile.     I stayed at Phuntsho Khangsar during my recent visit to Bhutan, the hotel was more than what I expected it to be. The comfort cleanliness and hospitality of the staff really made my stay very comfortable. I got upgraded to the room with a view I would totally recommend spending a little more and booking the room with the view. But I’m here writing this review because I was really moved by the hotel staff who made me a take away breakfast with fresh fruits and eggs at 6am for my flight. Thank you :)
