This is hands down the best B&B we’ve ever stayed at. Jeannie is a lovely host who went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and were comfortable throughout our stay. The place is spacious, exceptionally clean, well organized, and conveniently located in Golden (you’ll need a car to get around anyway). The breakfast is superb. Jeannie was very flexible with the timing, as we needed to leave early for our hikes, and she made sure everything was prepared to our liking. If you’re looking for somewhere to stay in Golden and don’t book this place; your loss!

Golden was beautiful, the views fantastic and the Northern...

Golden was beautiful, the views fantastic and the Northern Lights Wolf Center was absolutely amazing, well worth the trip from Duncan and back, well beyond expectations. I'd go again just to walk with the wolves. The food was good, the town very nice and we had a lovely time the two days we were there.

I'm a bit jaded because my accommodations were awful.

I'm a bit jaded because my accommodations were awful. But... There is some amazing scenery in this area. Food: I went to Alforno's for supper and it was fantastic. I had pasta, which was delicious. I did see a lot of the pizza coming out of the kitchen and it looked amazing. If you are looking for this restaurant, it is tucked away at the back of one of the local hotels.. just look along the right hand side of the building and you will see the sign.

Enjoyed the covered bridge and its history.

Enjoyed the covered bridge and its history. The riverside walk. The downtown area might have been more interesting if we'd had more time to walk around during the daytime hours. Getting around Golden seemed relatively easy. We ate at the indoor area of the old hotel, basically across from the covered bridge -- sorry I don't remember its name but I do remember its staff and food, both of which were super. It has a big outdoor courtyard, so you can't miss it. Absolutely thoroughly enjoyed the Skybridge Adventure Park. Glad I got the Adventure Pass -- well worth it and would do it again.

Golden was the only place in BC where hang gliding can be done with an expert glider. Tim provided enthusiast to experience flying under his guidance while Golden provided the perfect take-off and landing points. A great experience to last a lifetime 🤩🤩🤩

Cute little mountain town with great views.

Cute little mountain town with great views. Some nice shops and restaurants downtown and a great little movie theatre. I was there for one day which was fine for shopping etc. ...if you want to experience the rafting etc you need more time.
