Overall, this was a very pleasant stay. Having the option to stay in lovely motel, cabin, or camping was certainly a bonus. Owners take a lot of pride in their property and I can’t wait to see what they have done on our next visit. Excellent location if you enjoy fishing, hunting, golfing, ATV’s.

My only complaint was the weather....it poured rain all day Saturday! Cute little town. Great RV business located in Sundre......Country Road RV. Wish the weather had been nicer & then we could have walked around & seen more of the town. Cute little variety Store..... my daughter & I each bought a pair of rubber boots! Not our usual attire but that tells how hard it was raining Saturday! Looking forward to Sunday being sunnier!

We went for a quick hike around Snake Hill just inside sundre and explore the trails and rocky beaches just on the red deer river behind their main campground. The town has cute shops to visit and many family restaurants. There is no limit to how many "Steak and Pizza" restaurants in this town. So if that's what you're wanting for dinner you won't have to look far. Our favourite places we ate at was Original T's and Piro's Greek Restaurant. We didn't get to try the golf course restaurants but we heard they were quite good. Definitely recommend driving into Olds and going to Tasty Thai. It is probably the best Thai food I've ever had. Sundre is very close to the mountains and just a quick drive from Banff national park where you can hike, fish, sight see and ride horses at Ya-Ha-Tinda Ranch.

Sundre is a small town situated on the banks of the Red Deer River. It has a frontier town, very authentic and a museum which features a big game exhibit as well as the usual local artefacts and information. There's a sculpture park about 4 miles out and a pleasant walkway along the riverbank. For amenities, the town has an IGA, post office, Tim Hortons, A&W and a great restaurant called Original T's. There are river rafting tours, ATV tours and horseback riding if you're so inclined. We went for a wedding where the bride and groom rode in on their horses. It was too awesome!

The people, they are very friendly and if you went there not knowing anyone , you would leave knowing many new friends.The views, the mountains, fishing, Coyote Creek Golf Course, just so much to do, Awesome Rodeo, we go every year since I was little, have watched it grow, just an all round beautiful place to visit
