Sleeping in Champex was lovely (most people just go for a day trip). It was outside of season and so peaceful, the walk around the lake with the dog is just amazing. We love to be out of the crowd in calm and relaxing area. Additionally, the appartment we had was huge and well equipped.

Village is small but nice.
Village is small but nice. The central square is large and car free, with a nice ski track for children, beginners and bob's. The hot pool is simple but enjoyable. Ski station is small. Ski tracks & lifts have a strange layout that make it hard to came back to the village. The only way out is via one of 2 T-bars so you can imagine the queue at the end of the day... There's also a flat track that takes you directly back, but it's really flat. The east Les Rousses side is very nice but was often closed. The black Les Masques run in the west is great and serviced by the fast gondola coming from the village, but it's a little tiring to repeat it over and over. Given the amount of stations in Valais I'll try another one next time.

Close to hike starting points as well. Room was big, comfortable, super clean, and the south view was amazing (big balcony!) Friendly staff. The hotel also offers some really interesting rates for the wellness centre, much worth to try after a day of hike or ski :)

THANK YOU for that Eden resort! Our 3 bedroom appt was comfortable, and ideal for our group of 6 friends. Super location, very close to the lifts and the main square. We will def be back in winter 2024 :)

The hotel Zodiac offers you the possibility to use their ski cellar so you can get your skis and ski boots on really 30m from the first lift and you arrive in front of it on skis on your way down. To reach the departure of the telecabine "Pas de Maimbre" you should have minimum ski skills.

It is just about too far to walk with your skis on but could be done, if not you need to park at the lot next to the chair lift. Staff was very friendly, seemed like a friendly atmosphere in a typical Swiss alpine lodge.

Staff is great and apartment was very clean. The advantage of this residence is being close to the cable car to the slopes.
