From the very first moment I stepped into the hotel, I felt an immediate sense of ease. I was greeted by staff who were not only welcoming, but also truly kind and respectful—something that instantly set the tone for my stay. The room was spotless, and the view—well, it was on another level entirely. Waking up to that scenery each morning felt like a gift. Breakfast offered everything I needed to start the day, simple yet very much satisfying with the right options. But the true gem was dinner: if you want to experience the best salmon in town, it’s right here on the menu. What I appreciated the most was the atmosphere of the Hotel. It has everything one needs to truly relax, unwind, and embrace peacefulness. Yet, it remains so well-connected—the bus stop is directly in front of the hotel, making Interlaken West only about 20 minutes away. The ride itself feels like part of the experience, with breathtaking views unfolding along the way. This place truly feels like a home away from home, and I can honestly say it will be my go-to stay in Switzerland every year I return.

The property is a good value for money, good view, close to the bus station that takes you to interlaken in 30 mins. The room was clean and of a comfortable size. Even though this is a self checkin hotel our checkin exp was very smooth. there is no breakfast included but there is a coffee machine, microwave and kettle which helps with the basics of breakfast and ready to eat meals. it was safe and the surroundings were amazing. away from the city yet close enough.

It was an easy check-in and the staff at Dorint were courteous. They did, however, made sure that if we had any complaints about the apartment, we have to contact the owner. We could have enjoyed their swimming pool and sauna but our active schedule did not allow it. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen had ingredients we found very useful for food preparations.

We heard that Beatenberg is the "longest" town in...

We heard that Beatenberg is the "longest" town in Switzerland. There are 11 stops made by bus 101. We wanted to not be in the midst of the hustle/bustle of Interlaken and Beatenberg and Hotel Gloria supposed our expectations in quiet environment, awesome views of Lake Thun and exceptional friendly service staff.

The views were amazing, the staff was accommodating and friendly. The room was perfect. The breakfast was spectacular, the room, the food the service. The only thing we were disappointed with was the dinner. Very overpriced for the quality of food and service. Our kids' schnitzel was so yellow and my dinner came 15 mins after everyone else's, so everyone was already done by the time I got my food.

Small village, looks like we arrived not in the season time as the city was empty and nothing was working except 3 restaurant for whole place. View is amazing but for activities we had to drive down to Interlaken

we have stayed in Beatenberg many times over the last 30years, it is a beautiful place to stay, unfortunately our last stay was dreadful due to the hotel, we had booked for a week, we only stayed the one night then booked a hotel in Interlaken as it was so bad

A quiet neighbourhood not far from the sites around the Interlaken area. Unbeatable views, and a lovely drive. With the tourist tax, our hotel gave us free public tickets and access to the local pool - fantastic!

The apartment has amazing views with a lovely balcony. It is also well equipped and comfortable. The fold out beds were excellent and the small kitchen very functional. Hotel facilities were available as well. Worth knowing that there is a bus stop almost right outside. It's a 30 min ride to Interlaken and most times the bus was crowded and really hot.
