Loved the place from the moment I arrived: well organized, clean, exactly what I needed for my hike up to Oeschinensee. It is close to the trail start, and has small and functional rooms. The breakfast is delicious, providing all that is needed for a good start into a hiking day. All in all: great stay, would totally recommend & stay here again.

Our recent stay at Frutigresort in Frutigen, Switzerland, was absolutely fantastic and we can't recommend it enough, especially for families! This resort truly lives up to its motto of "arrive and simply enjoy." From the moment we checked in, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Our room was comfortable, modern, and spotlessly clean, offering a lovely balcony with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains – perfect for enjoying our morning coffee. We particularly appreciated the spacious bathroom and the thoughtful touches like tea and coffee facilities in the room. What truly sets Frutigresort apart are the incredible facilities and endless activities available right on site. The highlight for us was definitely the fantastic indoor and outdoor swimming pools, which provided hours of entertainment for the whole family. It's so convenient to have such well-maintained pool areas accessible to guests. Beyond the pools, there's so much to do! The kids absolutely loved the adventure playground, mini-golf, and the artificial turf pitch. There were even table tennis facilities and a climbing tower for those seeking a bit more adventure. It's clear this resort has been designed with families in mind, ensuring there's something to keep everyone entertained, no matter their age. The location in Frutigen is also excellent, serving as a perfect base for exploring the stunning Bernese Oberland. We enjoyed easy access to hiking trails, and for those interested in winter sports, we learned it's also a great spot for skiing with a free ski bus service available. Public transport is easily accessible, and having free parking at the resort was a huge plus. The breakfast buffet at the BEMATO restaurant was a wonderful start to each day, offering a good variety of options to fuel up for our adventures.

This is a great hotel! The location in a natural park is quiet at night and a place to relax during the day. The cleanest lake with trout, Alpaca Park. The rooms are not big, but comfortable. The SPA is very nice and we enjoyed using the saunas and jacuzzi, which is located outside. You lie down and admire the mountains. It's great! Very nice staff from the reception to the cleaners. And the dishes in the restaurant (especially the trout) require our return! This is a wonderful rest from the bustle of the city.

Amazing location for a 'Auszeit'. I needed to get some work done & get away from "life admin" and the hotel was perfect. Gorgeous location, great food, Coffee available (nespresso) - spacious room with desk (THANK YOU!). Spa, hiking and friendly staff. They were so nice to let me work on my laptop for extended time at the table & in spaces. Can't wait to go back.

Wonderful location right at the Blausee lake. Very friendly and professional service. The hotel looks old but well maintained. The spa area is great and included in the price. Breakfast was very good as well. Considering the Swiss price niveau, this is quite good value for money.
