Excellent property with a cozy laid back feel in the village of Muhlebach. The hosts are very warm and welcoming even though there was a small language barrier. They even gave us a plum cake with vanilla cream. We had a private balcony and a private bathroom. The view from the room and the bathroom is amazing. There is a lot of things to cook and even space to sit and possibly have a barbeque in the garden. The Aletsch glacier cable is from a close by place Fiesch. Highly recommended.

We are very happy with this hotel,We were behind the schedule one day late,We were asked to postpone our check in,The front desk was very cooperative. We had a great experience,The breakfast and window view are amazing, The staff member was very kind.

Hospitality and breakfast was very good

This historic hotel has been restored with care and flair by its current owners. Centrally located and just a short walk from the lift station, secure parking is conveniently opposite. The young and enthusiastic staff, particularly Stefan, Reuban and Israel were exceptionally charming. Stefan's take on a Negroni was particularly inspired! The restaurant boasts a diverse menu featuring local specialities with the "Cholera" being a must try. We ate in the restaurant every night of our three night stay. The wine list offers a good selection of both local and international wines. Breakfast is excellent with plenty of options. My only regret is not taking advantage of the spa and available treatments. Overall , this hotel is an excellent base for exploring the beautiful Aletsch Arena and the Valais region.

The breakfast was amazing. Everyone was very nice and friendly, we felt very relaxed and comfortable after our hike. And they have the best chef for dinners as well!!!

I had an extremely quiet and peaceful stay in one of the most picturesque hotel locations. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating (they let me use my parking space beyond my stay, were very accommodating with check-out times and were very welcoming with the evening meal). The hotel is very clean and well-maintained and sleeps remarkably well given the absence of noise and light pollution. The breakfast is very generous and varied: a real pleasure to start the day.

We spent a fantastic week in Fiesch, and staying at Hotel des Alpes was easily the best decision of our trip. ​The room interiors were impressive—everything felt brand new, incredibly clean, and thoughtfully designed. The room service was exceptionally attentive, and every staff member we encountered was genuinely friendly and professional, making us feel truly welcome throughout our stay. ​One of the highlights was the restaurant downstairs. In my opinion, it is hands-down the best place to eat in town. The quality of the food and the overall dining experience were superb. Additionally, the Guest Card provided upon check-in made the stay extremely cost-effective, offering incredible value for money. ​Location-wise, it couldn't be more convenient. It is just a 5-minute walk to the Fiesch train station and the cable car for the Aletsch Glacier, which made our daily logistics seamless. It is also only a 12-minute stroll to the local sauna and swimming pool facilities, which was perfect for post-ski recovery. A highly recommended stay for anyone visiting the area!

The hotel is conveniently located near the bus stop to Fiesch. With a short ride (3 min) one arrives to the Ski Lift in Fiesch. Breakfast theme was very good with a variety of options and the spa and swimming pool were basically empty during the day. Optimal choice for ski-lovers.

We got a room with a stunning view. The owners took care of us beyond expectations! and help with the small questions. Sad we didn't stay longer

Beautiful location. Charming town. Employees are absolutely wonderful, go out of their way for you. Breakfast was out of this world. Hotel is pin neat and seemed freshly renovated. Couldn't recommend this place more.

Spacious apartment with everything you need. If you want to escape the more touristy towns this is the perfect place. A very tranquil location with beautiful views of the mountains. Lovely staff too.

The staff was extremely professional and nice, the menu for the day was amazing every day. The hotel is super pet friendly, so we all enjoyed our stay very much and looking forward to our next trip at ONYA.

The host couple are very kind to us. We enjoy our wonderful 2 nights stay in Aletsch glacier arena.If someday my friends will visit Aletsch area, I will strongly recommend them to stay in here. Wonderful and chill time in here.And the breakfast is very tasty and delicious too.

Amazing location in the centre of Bettmeralp, ski-in & ski-out, 3 min from the restaurants, ski rental and supermarket. Great breakfast, and once a week they offer a super nice raclette evening. Ruth and Reto are lovely hosts!
