United KingdomExtremely friendly host a very warm welcome- the family even shared their supper with as were a late arrival. Apartment was lacking nothing, without a doubt the best facilities on our pretty extensive motorbike trip and pleased to see he was a fellow biker! Very bike friendly bike,

ItalyWe were delighted with our stay in Göschenen. The flat is comfortable, very well equipped. There were a lot of attention to details, the nice candles, the slippers, the breakfast items… accessing the sauna was an added bonus! The instructions were very clear, and the hosts gave lots of helpful suggestions about local restaurants. We all loved our stay and are considering going again.

If so, I highly recommend staying here for at least one night.
Although it's a bit far from Interlaken, it's worth the time—this place offers a true taste of the Swiss countryside and breathtaking natural scenery.
The owner was warm-hearted and kind. Having dinner here with a glass of wine or beer is another special experience you shouldn't miss.
Some people say there's nothing to do outside—and that's true, apart from enjoying the peaceful and incredibly beautiful Swiss landscape.
In my case, everything was just perfect!

Quiet village situated centrally for access to stunning mountain scenery and impressive passes. No more than 90 minutes by car from Zurich airport and the same from Chur for Bernina and Glacier Expresses. 20 minutes from Andrematt and that it has to offer. Swiss rail station within walking distance

Cute little town with a detailed history.
Cute little town with a detailed history. Get a copy of the walking tour and/or check out the museum at the train station for more information about the tunnels and bridges. Göschenen is a great place to stay if skiing in Andermatt and you want to be away from the crowds. It’s a quick drive or train ride away.

We stayed for one night on the way to Italy. The hotel is basic but very clean and the beds are very comfortable, the location is quiet so we had good sleep. The owner is very nice and he arranged a late check-in for us. The hotel is on the expensive side but not for Switzerland, everything else around was double the price.

The staff was very nice. The restaurant at the hotel is good - we had breakfast and dinner there and were pleasantly surprised.
We went skiing to Andermatt, and the train connection was fairly convenient - the hotel is just several minutes walk from the station, and there are several trains per hour that go to Andermatt.

For a mountain escape it’s a great place to sspend a night or passing through. At the end of a road quite high up the mountain. Great mountain views. The only sound we could hear in the evening was cow bells. A truly authentic countryside place. Far from hotel chain feeling.
