Staff were very welcoming and especially helpful with our next evening's reservation at point de Zinal, as we had made a mistake with our dates. Breakfast was delicious, the fresh bread was awesome! Muesli was great, oatmilk on offer too. There were boiled eggs on offer we hadn't seen eggs for breakfast on much of our trip at all. Great stay, great location, great bathroom, bath and shower.

The location was perfect - directly opposite the ski lifts with access to both Grimentz and Zinal slopes. All staff were brilliant - friendly, efficient and helpful. The restaurant was excellent - so good in fact that we had dinner there 3 out the 5 nights that we stayed in Grimentz. And the Spa - with sauna, steam room and outdoor jacuzzi was a wonderfully relaxing space.

This is one of my preferred hotels in Switzerland. The place is small with nice and not overly stylish rooms. The hotel is run by a couple who seems to care about the quality of lodging and food that they offer. The breakfast has been superb every time I have come here (since 2019 almost every year): Freshly baked crunchy bread, fresh fruit, local cheese and "viande sechée". If you spend time in Zinal, then I suggest to have dinner at their restaurant that offers very high quality food and wine. I was never disappointed.

William and Coralie were extremely thoughtful and welcoming hosts. They prepared a lovely breakfast for us that included several products from the region such as the fruit compotes, apple juice, and eggs as well as the cheeses and meats. The rooms were very clean and spacious and we slept like babies underneath the comfortable duvets. The location itself is beautiful. We woke up to a breathtakingly clear view of the mountains and sunny weather. Furthermore, they were extremely kind when I reached out about a forgotten sweater and made sure to get it back to me.

Grimentz is a beautiful place to visit with great skiing. Could do with more chair lifts to replace buttons and T bars. Preferred if you want a quieter ski trip e.g. no real nightlife apart from excellent restaurants.

Nice little (original Swiss Valais) town. Lots of traffic. Very old infrastructure in the ski area (with a few new gondolas and chairlifts). Waiting in line for the lift is annoying. The longest time I've experienced.

Nice place but it seems they start to turn it into a construction site, a lot of new development at higher altitude levels ; it still has charm but fear that this unknown gem is now fully exposed to foreign and domestic real estate investments. I come here for over 18 years and witnessed these gradual changes with mixed emotions. Also prices are hiked up seriously, dinner, supermarket, replacing a broken ski helmet with a new one etc...seems all 30 to 40 percent more expensive than comparable resorts in France .

Grimentz is a very pretty village up on the mountains.

Grimentz is a very pretty village up on the mountains. But it is still small enough to be very quiet and cozy. Having a car helps a lot. You can also drive up to a dam and lake or even higher up to the glacier (Parking space at both locations). Cable car stations in the middle of the village with access to both mountain sides. Lots of shopping options.

It is a great apartment, super clean and beautiful. We have a great mountains view from our apartment. We have parking, ski room and recycling trash is easy. Marie is super nice, welcoming and present all facilities to us, Easy check in and check out process. We highly recommend this place, and we will definitely come back.

The property is in front of the télécabines. This is great. The hotel has a parking that we were able to use. Really convenient. On Saturday afternoon they have a nice band playing music on the terrace. The breakfast was excellent with a lot of choices. Thank you for your hospitality!

The cheerful staff continually went out of their way to be helpful (even drying off our skis for us as we packed our car up outside the hotel). The chalet we stayed in was specced to a very high standard. Spa excellent. Ski-in, ski-out is terrific.
