We had a wonderful experience at the Hotel Bella Tola & Spa in Switzerland, a beautifully restored hotel set in a magical location. Situated in a charming town, the hotel impressed us with its cleanliness, elegant decor, cozy rooms, and comfortable beds. It's an ideal location for hiking and exploring Switzerland.     Nice little (original Swiss Valais) town. Lots of traffic. Very old infrastructure in the ski area (with a few new gondolas and chairlifts). Waiting in line for the lift is annoying. The longest time I've experienced.

    Nice place but it seems they start to turn it into a...

    Nice place but it seems they start to turn it into a construction site, a lot of new development at higher altitude levels ; it still has charm but fear that this unknown gem is now fully exposed to foreign and domestic real estate investments. I come here for over 18 years and witnessed these gradual changes with mixed emotions. Also prices are hiked up seriously, dinner, supermarket, replacing a broken ski helmet with a new one etc...seems all 30 to 40 percent more expensive than comparable resorts in France .

    Grimentz is a very pretty village up on the mountains.

    Grimentz is a very pretty village up on the mountains. But it is still small enough to be very quiet and cozy. Having a car helps a lot. You can also drive up to a dam and lake or even higher up to the glacier (Parking space at both locations). Cable car stations in the middle of the village with access to both mountain sides. Lots of shopping options.

    It is a small, high altitude traditional village in Valais, in Anniviers valley. It has a great variety of hikes, one of the most beautiful lakes (Moiry) and glacier where you can reach very easily. It is not so crowded comparing with other much more ''comercial'' locations but it is offering much more than many of them

    Absolutely Everything. Breath taking views! Amazing Staff! Immaculate Apartment! Switzerland was just one of the many countries that I visited on my Euro trip so far. This has been my best accommodation yet. Exactly like the pictures. Wished I stayed longer. Thank you for the hospitality that was provided to us at any time of day. I loved this place!

    It was well value the money compared to general Swiss hotels. Grimentz was a surprisingly authentique old swiss village. We happened to arrive at a day when there was a local market.
