Value stay in a very expensive country right off the train stop. Booked last minute and was greeted without problems and given instructions on where my room was. Lovely 2 bed room so we did not have to share a room with others. Only shared bathroom facilities down the hall, which is more than fine. A lovely dining area is available to purchase coffee and breakfast if you please.

Although the host responded quickly and was proactive in trying to resolve the issue, unfortunately there was no hot water the night I stayed. I waited from 10pm until midnight, but only cold water was available, so I wasn’t able to take a shower after a long and exhausting day. The room itself was very clean, and the location is close to the train station, which is convenient. However, if you are carrying large suitcases, be prepared for a steep uphill walk, which can be tiring.

We had an amazing stay at Frutt Mountain (Lago Lodge)! The hotel was incredibly kid-friendly and baby-friendly, which made our trip so easy and enjoyable. For the kids, there was a game room with a bowling alley, a cinema room, and even Lego plates at the kids’ buffet – such a fun touch! For our baby, they provided everything we needed, including a baby bathtub, baby body wash, diapers, and wipes. At dinner, they even had a special infant chair for babies who can’t hold their heads up yet – we were so impressed by the thoughtfulness. The whole place was spotless and very well organized. The buffet and sit-down dinner were both extremely delicious. The staff made our stay extra special – Lucca, the manager, was incredibly helpful, our server Stefan was wonderful, and the two ladies at the front desk were so kind. Our room had a breathtaking view, as if we were staying right inside a Scottish loch. Walking around the lake and seeing the cows nearby was one of the highlights of our entire trip. We highly recommend this hotel, especially for families traveling with children. We’ll definitely be back!

    Actually the place is nice but the housekeeping is terrible.

    Actually the place is nice but the housekeeping is terrible. We stayed for 3 nights and they never actually change our towels and the worst is they never clean the room although we had the sign that needs cleaning. We have to call their attention every night . Our vacations ruin everything whenever we come back to the hotel as we are disappointed of the situation.. We had a great day but it destroyed our aura as we return.. To the owner: Pls check your housekeeping .

    BREATHTAKING. the lake is so beautiful and people were all so friendly. food and drinks were good too. we would stay longer next time so we can rent a boat for the day and take it all in even more. i can highly recommend hotel&restaurant Kaiserstuhl to book your stay or even get a refreshing drink and amazing local food made to perfection. you can drive around with your car, come by train or bus. there is so much to see, cute little village,water fall,lake,big church, camps and swissalp scenery

    Wonderful place among the mountains and with a wonderful...

    Wonderful place among the mountains and with a wonderful lake. Perfect place to enjoy nature, take good pictures of the snowed mountains and the pretty lake. The stay may be combined with visits to Lucern and lake of Brienz which are not far away.
