The views from our room were amazing. The staff at the hotel was super friendly and recommended several activities in the area. Also they upgraded our room to a bigger one. Definetly will repeat in another season

The location is absolutely stunning with beautiful lake and mountain views. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options. Most importantly, the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Margherita, who was exceptional and provided outstanding service throughout our stay.

It‘s very good maintained. Very good quality. Local products. Location perfect, view even better. Very generous breakfast. Diner also amazing with a lot of product from the garden, that’s on the property. Amazing swimming pool area with the view on the Viniard. I loved it.

Not a massive amount to do in Melide itself, but there a few...

Not a massive amount to do in Melide itself, but there a few nice little restaurants and a Miniature Model Village for the kiddies. A short bus ride/ train ride from Laguna and accommodation seemed much cheaper. We ate in the hotel restaurant, which was borderline fine dining, so food was amazing but a little expensive; presecco, a bottle of medium priced wine and two medium priced secondi meals cane to about €170 plus tip. We were lucky enough to get a free upgrade, staying in a wonderful apartment with Hammam and kitchenette; always nice to get an upgrade, so many thanks again 😁

The herbal tea offered in the room, the slippers, the terrace and the view of the lake from the room. The well-stocked bar, the restaurant, the room service, the ladies on the floor and all the staff were excellent.

From the hotel, we were able to take beautiful hikes via Carona to San Salvatore and on to Morcote. The views of Lake Lugano are magnificent. The view of the lake from Monte San Giorgio is also outstanding.

A relaxed atmosphere and very well located for our visit to Swiss Miniature. The lakeside area is beautifully designed, and we also appreciated the boat landing for the scheduled boats on Lake Maggiore.

Situated on Lake Lugano.

Situated on Lake Lugano. With the "Ticino guest card," public transport in the area is free. Lugano, about 6 km away, is a beautiful city to visit. The train to Mt. Generoso is also definitely worth it. (Go early in the morning, as it gets quite busy around noon.)

A small village on the shores of Lake Lugano.

A small village on the shores of Lake Lugano. The pros: access to the only bridge connecting the two sides of the lake, making it easy to cross back and forth; Mini-Switzerland to visit just 2 minutes away; the extraordinary view; and it's a 10-minute drive from Lugano. The cons: only 3-4 Italian restaurants and nothing else. In short, very convenient for a short stay, but not much longer.

Most fantastic view. The city of Melide does not offer much, but the location of the hotel is fantastic if you get the room with view to the lake. The breakfast was excellent!
