I was very pleasantly surprised by this first experience with Ambrosia Husli. The bed was great and it was a nice value for the price.

Very nice breakfast, dorms, beds, showers, and common areas. My only complaint — and it’s a minor one — was that I couldn’t charge my phone overnight as I didn’t have a USB > Lightning cord. Add an electrical outlet in the bunk and this place would get 10/10.

Set very close to banks of the River Rhine, this designer hostel is next to the old city gate of St. Alban.

I had a few hour connection in Basel. I thought since it is so cheap I am going into a scam, but it was very decent comfortable and worth the price.
