The team made sure I had gluten-free and lactose-free options, I was amazed! The ladies I had the change to meet at the reception were also very kind and I look forward to coming back! Thank you everyone!

The hotel people is very nice, even can't speak much English, But still trying their best to help me. Room and breakfast is very nice. Beautiful hotel right on the river. Walking distance to everything including the train station. Great staff, breakfast provided. Was a great stay. I had a lovely room on the corner with a view of the river from both windows. Easy self check in as I arrived late.

Solothurn's Arsenal Museum has the largest public-access...
Solothurn's Arsenal Museum has the largest public-access collection of medieval and renaissance arms and armour in Switzerland, and is a great mind-opnener to visit. Solothurn is a walled medieval town that suffered the ravages of the Wars of Religion, but now has historic buildings and architecture everywhere. The riverside is a pleasant gathering place for locals and visitors alike. Beautiful town!

Fantastic town which offers a great combination of culture, restaurants and nature! We stayed 3 days and loved it!!
It is super easy to walk around.
We visited Blumenstein Museum (absolutely worth it!), walked through the verena’s gorge (amazing), rode a bike along the Aare river till Büren and see Aare (ate at restaurant il grano: great location, fresh good and creative way of serving it), did a detective-trail in the old town (great way to learn about some legends and discover the city!), saw the 11 hour clock, visited the waldegg castle, ate well (brasserie federale, cantinetta bindella), got a great massage at the last floor of H4 hotel with a great view and generally just enjoyed the lively and relaxing atmosphere there.
It was such an amazing discovery!!!
Historic property, old XVIIIth Century manor house on a hillside overlooking Solothurn and the river, surrounded by fields with sheep. Inside has been tastefully renovated and modenized, with spacious rooms, high ceilings, all mod cons, comfortabe beds and couches. The covered veranda was wonderful place to sit and read and play games.
