It is a beautiful town, gorgeous beaches. Prices are average for the Caribbean. Public transport is not reliable, therefore, renting a car is the best option to go to the beaches and to move around. Very nice city, vibrant and beautiful. The scenery is amazing. People are nice and friendly. There are multiple restaurants and places to visit. Willemstad is a great Caribbean experience, with a lot of history. As a Dutch person I will always feel the connection, even though the colonial part is not always something to be proud of. You could see it was new and in perfect condition with all the things you need. Furthermore, Ravi was the perfect host, easily reachable, good tips for restaurants and places to visit and welcoming us with a nice drink. Also Carlos made sure the property was always in good condition and the garden and pool are well taken care of!
