We enjoyed the historic building with updated electrical and bathroom. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our dinner was delicious with lots of atmosphere, candle, flowers on the table. Warm wood decor. Excellent breakfast. Comfortable beds and linens.

The staff was incredible. Room was really great, impeccably clean. THE FOOD, incredible. Was shocked to see a Michelin Star plaque for 2025. Well deserved.

A wonderful Gasthaus. We were on a Westweg Wanderung and the Gasthaus is several kilometers from Alexanderschanze. We were not aware that a bus, Bus 100, travels from Alexanderschanze to a stop very close to Kneibus-Stuben. If you stay here, taking the bus is a must after a long hike. The walk to the Gasthaus is at least 45 minutes, if not more, from Alexanderschanze.

We booked 2 rooms in the hotel. Both were in different buildings. The one in the main buildidng where the receptions is was in a better condition then the one in the upper building. I may say it was a newer one, with better bathroom. Overall, it was a very good stay. The breakfast was perfect. The hotel gives very cute and cozy vibe. We were in the summer and it was very cute that it gave cozy winterly vibe. The stuff wefe great.

Excellent location within walking distance to sights. Room very nice and modern. Small balcony. Fans were provided but it was very warm making it difficult to sleep but we knew there was no AC. Breakfast had lots of variety and staff made eggs and bacon on order. Great cappuccino. Parking garage a short walk away.
