Excellent restaurant with first class cuisine- so we ate in the hotel every night without any repeat ; Snacks and drinks for opera goers before the free coach to the festspielhaus. Most considerate. Perfect way in which the hotel has preserved its 1950's styling and furnishings throughout. Excellent breakfast in the grand restaurant room extended every day to 12 noon! Again most considerate for the previous night's late opera goers.

Located in Bayreuth, less than 1 km from Oberfrankenhalle Bayreuth, B&B Hotel Bayreuth provides rooms with air conditioning. I loved the fact that this hotel was a contactless hotel. I received a phone call from the management the day I was arriving. They informed me of check in procedures, which was done without the need to go to the Front Desk. They told me that I would receive an SMS later on with my room number as well as entry code. The location was also top notch, within walking distance to the train station, and with easy reach within the Old Town. The room was also very spacious and roomy, and more than enough for a solo traveller. I definitely would consider this place again if I were again visiting the town.

That they have " No Smoking Floors " yes so you do not bump into people or smell smoke anywhere on your floor level. Good breakfast. All the staff were very good, friendly and efficient. The lady at reception was very good on information, plus where to go in town etc.

This modern 4-star hotel in Bayreuth, home to the famous Richard Wagner Festival, is within walking distance of the town centre, Eremitage castle gardens, and Lohengrin thermal baths. From my point of view the breakfast couldn't be bettered. The location was just a little too far out from the town centre but we had stayed there before and knew what to expect - a good bus service and easy taxi availability covered all the transport problems. The hotel arranged transport to and from the theatre (Festspielhaus). The staff couldn't have been more helpful - wonderful !
