Check-in was very easy, and everything was explained. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for our stay. However, the owner provided excellent recommendations for restaurants. The room was very large and the beds were extremely comfortable..

The hotel was closed on mondays but they’d made easy provisions so I could get my key with no fuss. There is a balcony from which I enjoyed watching swifts engage in shenanigans centred around what appeared to be their sleeping spot under the rain drain of the building opposite. There were some disagreements about which swifts were and weren’t welcome there and some birdfights and amazing aerial acrobatics ensued. The room is lovely and dark at night and the breakfast is good.

The host was amazing. You can see that he cares for the people and wants then to feel good. I booked this hotel without checking too much what they offer, I just saw breakfast and it was in the Area I wanted to be for good price. Then when we arrived, we didn't only have a room we had a whole apartament. The apartament also had a kitchen so we were able to cook a bit. Breakfast was also with reasonable things, normal for the German buffet 😄 There was even a sauna and a pool which I didn't at all expected for the price :D Sauna was 5 euro per person per day, very reasonable price. There was a space for our bicycles and we were able to also charge with no issue our ebikes. Whatever we needed the host was accommodating and trying to help. Generally great experience, I was very nicely surprised . Some of the facilities are a bit older and not yet renovated but this also supports then the price to be lower. Preis-Leistung really great.
