We stayed in a family room which had 2 separate sleeping areas on a split level (large double bed + 2 single bed). The downside of this is an extremely small bathroom but we actually did not mind this as we stayed one night only. Breakfast room with a wide choice to suit all.

Very easy to collect the keys. There was no hot water, but the landlord fixed it the same day. Same with providing face towels. Great location - in Frechen town center. Very close to the tram stop - 5 min walk. Cologne city center is 35 min away by tram no 7 and cost 5 euro. Close to Markt kauf (supermarket), restaurants and Hauptstrasse. Fast and reliable internet. Bedrooms are at the back, so no street noise. Landlord very responsive through WhatsApp.

Amazing, super comfortable, clean and accessible! Will definitely be back! Liked · Maja and her family were super welcoming and friendly and went of their way to make us comfortable and ensure everything was working. My mum and I booked this hotel last minute due to a last minute change in our previous accomodation and we were so grateful and lucky. The room and bathroom was modern and clean, and we have both very slept so good! We ate at the restaurant for one of the nights and it was delicious, service was quick and everything was clean and wonderful. Hotel is a 2 minute walk from a strassenbank (tram) point so was super easy to get to from Frechen and Koln, as well as having many shops and restaurants nearby. Can't recommend enough!! Thank you all for a wonderful time, Victoria & Christine

First of all the city is well placed for DB stations and can...

First of all the city is well placed for DB stations and can get to Koln in 20 minutes or so. For food, there is a good place to eat near the Frechen BF with great steaks and beer. The city si very quiet and very close to Phantasialand ~20m, 1h to Toverland and 1.5h to Efteling. You can find anything you want and need, Aldi, Lidl etc. and also a small shopping mall for the ladies. Also it is very well suited for park walks or trailing if you feel the need to losen up a little.

The staff is incredible and at the service of customers. They helped us as some were struggling to find their way to hotel. They listened to us when we had extra requests. Several goods are put for customers, free of charge. The rooms are very clean, respectful of environment (energy saving) and with nice wooden furnitures.

The only good thing about the hotel was its location on main street, next to bus stop and train station. (But on sunday S19 was not operating from Cologne Central Staton that made us to have a city tour by bus S19 ( over 1 hour time)
