We had a wonderfully relaxing and peaceful stay at this beautiful home nestled close to nature. The mountains surrounding the town created a stunning backdrop. In the mornings you get the sun directly in your room. The space was clean, cozy, and very comfortable — perfect for unwinding. Morning coffee in the balcony and exploring the scenic area, everything felt calm and refreshing.

The hotel is ideally located close to the centre of the village. The staff could not do enough for you. The rooms with the balcony are lovely, spotless and very comfortable. Breakfast had kids of variety and as much as you wanted, very tasty. Could not recommend the hotel enough, third generation and loads of personal touches.

Location was perfect - just over the road from the lake. They have their own decking by the lake with steps down to where you can jump in for a swim. The sauna is on this decking and has a window overlooking the lake - gorgeous! They serve a three course meal for €45 in their restaurant during the week and the food was exceptional! The service was too and they were very happy to speak English and make us feel welcome.

We loved everything in this hotel. When we arrived, there was a large parking space right beside the hotel. Therefore, we didn't have any problem to park our car. On entering the hotel, we were welcomed and given our room keys, as well as given information about restaurant opening times and breakfast times. The restaurant at this hotel was excellent. The menu came with a good choice and the food was excellent. Dessert was also delicious. We also loved the atmosphere at the restaurant. Breakfast was also nice and good. The staff at the restaurant and during breakfast were all kind, helpful, and giving an excellent service. The room was clean and with enough space. The balcony overlooked the parking area, with a good view of the road and the mountains. I would choose this hotel again if I decide to go to this location again in the future. I would highly recommend staying at Landgasthof Sonnenhof to anyone travelling in this area. We just loved it!

Our apartment was sparkling clean and had everything we needed. The bed was very conform table and the shower was great. The kind owner even brought us extra duvet and heater because I am too sensitive to cold, which I fee truly grateful. We will stay in the same apartment next time we visit this area and we recommend 100% !

Krun was a beautiful, quiet little town.

Krun was a beautiful, quiet little town. There were shops, restaurants and several supermarkets. Although the main supermarket in town is very popular so can get extremely busy. It was also easy to hire bikes in town, to enjoy the many different trails. The cows (with their bells) going to their milking sheds at 5.30 pm, was always a nice treat.

Very pleasant home, nice cozy apartment, we felt great there, we will certainly be happy to return there, I recommend for other guests. There are very good conditions in winter for cross -country skiing and in summer hiking, mountain biking.

A great starting point for various hikes up the mountains, along the Isar River, or to the many lakes. Mittenwald and Garmisch-Partenkirchen are easily accessible. The village is small and cozy, with shops, a gas station, and bus stops.

Krün is a wonderful starting point for all kinds of activities. We were delighted by the well-developed network of cycling and hiking trails, as well as the beautiful lakes for swimming nearby. Shopping and dining options are plentiful.

A charming town in the Alps.

A charming town in the Alps. A gas station, supermarket, and shops are nearby (Aldi and Lidl), and there are several cafes and restaurants where you can enjoy Wiener Schnitzel. It's easy to get to and navigate the town. Beautiful landscapes, waterfalls, and trails are nearby, as well as the magnificent Partnach Gorge.

Krün is smaller than Mittenwald and therefore quieter.

Krün is smaller than Mittenwald and therefore quieter. All necessary shops (bakery, grocery store) and good restaurants are available. Krün is a good starting point for exploring the Karwendel and Zugspitze regions; Innsbruck is also easily accessible.

The apartment is amazing, with three double bed rooms, a kitchen which had everything you need, a lovely lounge area, dining table and even a snug for those quieter moments. The host, Sabine is also wonderful and checks in to make sure you have everything you need. Krün is a quiet location, but from our balcony we had stunning views and could easily reach all of the places that we wanted to visit.

The breakfast was excellent and always served with a cheerful smile. Although the hotel didn't have a functioning restaurant while we were there it did provide tea/coffee making facilities during the afternoon and filled rolls which we were invited to take. The location is perfect for walking and all paths are clearly sign posted. The mountain views are superb.

A stylish hotel in a quiet part of the village with the possibility of sitting in the garden. The single room was small, but comfortable and suitable for sleeping. The service was helpful and the breakfast rich. Evening sitting with a drink in the garden very pleasant. The dinner option in the restaurant was only half board, but it was very good.

Everyone at the B&B family is so nice. The mother in the hotel is very enthusiastic, and so is her daughter. I’m so glad I chose this B&B. The breakfast is delicious, it‘s very close to nearby hiking trails, and there are sheep, so cute!
