A German friend recommended we add this gem to the list of places we planned to visit. It was fantastic. Small town. Mostly locals, but you could hear the occasional smattering of English speakers here and there. We loved the Christmas market here. We got reservations at Drei Hasen for dinner. The rump steak was delicious. Trout, boar stew, and schnitzel were also top notch. We wandered the town to see the historic Rathaus, architecture, thieves tower and more. We also headed to Erbach to tour the castle and visit the ivory museum. Maybe a 10 minute or less drive. There is not an English speaking tour at the castle but they do have a written guide if you need one. The ivory museum has an audio tour in multiple languages that’s free with your ticket. I really wish we had scheduled more time here. It was absolutely worth the stop.Guest review byTamaraUnited States

The breakfast very nicely served, even the hard boiled egg had a smiling face drawn on it it which made me feel really happy to start the new day. The personnel was also very nice and helpful. The hotel was situated close to town and within walking distance of shops, close to the old town and an easy 10 minute drive from the English Garden Eulbach.
