There are already so many wonderful things to do like snorkeling, diving, massages and especially the many activities offered by Captain Mahmoud's extraordinary team and the high quality shows performed in the evening. All the staff are adorable, attentive, attentive both on the beach and by the pool as well as in the various restaurants, not to mention the maintenance staff and gardeners, the cooks, the waiters (mention special for Ahzem from the main restaurant, Abd Allah at the pool restaurant, Mostafa who is part of Mahmoud's team, Hod Hod on the beach and many others of whom I don't really know the spelling of their first name. are all very courageous, with a sense of humor and kindness like I have rarely seen. my ultimate happiness. I can stay there forever. all the quietness on earth is there. it is a very calm city for those who are looking for that. people are so friendly and respectful. it is the ideal place to connect with nature. Abudabbab beach is the best place there to swim, relax, and snorkeling. Masa Alam is a hot, dry and dusty town on the edge of the red sea. There is nothing there for tourists. I'm sure there is a restaurant somewhere. I stayed at my hotel and ordered food to be delivered. The only reason i was there was because thats where the scuba dive boat leaves from. Since then i found out the dive boat operator will pick you up pretty much anywhere, even Hurgada. See if you can find a place in Hurgada and have the boat operator pick you up there, or take a private taxi to Masa Alam.Guest review byJimUnited States - 10.0

While far away from Hurghada, the main airport, about 4.5 hours drive, the coast around Marsa Alam is clearly wilder here with with much more sea life than further north, so definitely worth it for a more 'water safari' experience. Greatest place in Egypt for snorkeling/diving in my opinion. Very quiet city, and most resorts are actually away from the city so don't expect anything outside of your resort (check your distance). Every evening there was different theme dinner - steaks, seafood, barbeque, fish and everything was delicious. The staff was nice and friendly, making jokes all the time with everyone, our waiter Atty was super nice and we always went to his tables. Also the receptionst Bassem was very helpful and friendly.
