The host was absolutely phenomenal. She was so helpful. The place was amazing! A big room, with a great bathroom and everything was just quality. It was also on my Camino route. She made me a great breakfast for only 7 euros.

Good Location and facility but a lot of insects…

By far the nicest place we’ve ever stayed. Lots of attention to detail. Dinner & breakfast were excellent & well plated.

It's a beautiful and welcoming house, warm and tastefully decorated, in a very peaceful location. A true gem. Very well equipped. My only regret was not being able to stay longer.

A beautiful rural location, very private and quiet. The Casa and sleeping accommodations were tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The host and hostess were very welcoming and did their best to ensure we had everything we needed. It was great to be picked up as we ended our day’s walk in Ferreira. Food - dinner and breakfast - were excellent. We would definitely stay again.

The apartment is big and comfortable, full kitchen, washing machine, perfect for pilgrims. If you are in Friol this is the place.

Nearly everything was impressive. This place is phenomenal. Clean, quiet, welcoming. We wished we had more time to stay longer. The gentlemen who own/run this old church converted into a bed and breakfast are so attentive, patient, and communicative. They speak English, if needed (for Peregrinos), and are very responsive to in-app messages. Because this place is a few kilometers North of Palas de Rei and off the Camino path, they offer to pick you up from town and drop you off the next day (for a $10 Euro fee each way), which we thought was worth it as Peregrinos coming in from Portomarin, having hiked something like 25km over lots of hills and gravel roads that day. The rooms are HUGE, the size of studio apartments. Both rooms we booked had huge beds (probably equivalent to Cali King size) which were very soft and comfy. There were seating areas and reading nooks under each window in both rooms, giant armoires, and plenty of lighting options. The bathroom was huge and beautiful with a jet (Jacuzzi) tub and shower with rainfall shower head plus optional handheld shower head. Left nozzle turns the water on, right nozzle controls water temperature (in theory, lol). Communal dining and living areas are available to use, along with an outdoor seating/lounging area. On site gym with weights, treadmill, combination ab/pullup station, and a seat by the entrance with a leg massager. Many of the original elements were kept like the original stone wall exterior, large wooden bedroom doors with big metal latches, and such, which gave this place a historic feel. We loved it.

Beautiful and very comfortable beds

Very comfortable albuergue with private rooms. Inviting, comfy, and clean. The hospitalerio was helpful and calm...especially after a 20 mile day in the pouring rain. Restaurant next door is OK...nothing to write home about. Albuergue offers a good cost effective breakfast, beer, wine and soda

Location right on the Camino Route. The meal provided for 15EUR was homemade, tasty and great value for the money. Paid 5EUR for laundry wash and 6 for drying; they did it for you. Water was hot in shower. Very clean facility. Room darkening rouladans made for a great night's rest.
