The hotel and room were great. It’s definitely a resort type of vacation. It was our first time doing all inclusive and definitely worth it. Of course there are certain things not included, like premium drinks, but basically all the food in the restaurants, buffet, food trucks (healthy food truck was very good), and room service menus were ALL included. Our room was beautiful. It was very spacious. We had a balcony, living area, large bathroom, and a splash pool upstairs. There were many options for pools, the main rooftop pool, adults only pool, a somewhat large infinity pool (one pool connected to the other pool below, swim up bar is here), a small children’s pool, and a small heated indoor pool by the gym/spa. Many grassy areas and beautiful views around the property. We used the gym several times and it is fully equipped. There’s water and towels available for your use. There’s a small town with restaurants and shops walking distance and a golf course. The main restaurant with a view seems to be Restaurant Illeta (get reservations, fills fast). It is walking distance by the beach. We took a taxi to the nearby Andratx port and there were many more restaurants and stores and nightlife in that area. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. This is a wonderful hotel and wish we can go back.

We had a fabulous welcome from the lovely staff. The hotel is beautiful. Parking was easy and safe in the hotels secure car park. Our room was perfect. We booked in for evening meal in the restaurant which and it was lovely to see so many people in there during february! The breakfast was the best breakfast buffet I’ve ever seen. I would return in a heartbeat.

I’m normally not one to write reviews but Universal Hotel Aquamarin has proved they are well worth this five star review. Firstly, from the second you arrive in the door you are greeted with bright smiles, enthusiastic staff and a glass of champagne. They ask about any need you may require during your time there and they cater to it. It has been a while since I’ve experienced a group of staff who are so considerate and remember even the little things about every guest. For example I let them know I had fish for dinner one night and the next night I had dinner at the hotel restaurant they remembered my dinner choice from the night before. They also remembered I smoked and each time they would bring me an ashtray before I even knew I needed one. Also little details like saying and remembering your name whilst serving you. As a solo traveler it was nice to know I was seen and not overlooked by larger families and groups. The breakfast and dinner was phenomenal and I have to give a special shout out to my friend Sergio who made my stay very comfortable. There is a wide variety to choose from for breakfast also and the chef also prepares more breakfast options. They have great choices from fish, meat and vegetarian on their menu also. The most impeccable part of my stay here was the view. I felt compelled to gatekeep this location but it is too beautiful not to share with others. Tanning on the sun beds was my favourite part of the stay and you are so close to the water you can dip in and out for a swim easily. I also tried out the spa which was amazing and eased my muscle and back pain which I had been suffering with for a while. I would recommend booking in advance as they tend to be fully booked and they were fully booked during my stay here also. As you can tell by my review I really love this hotel and cannot wait to return later in the year. 10/10 spot.

The bus stop was 1 minute away, the city center of Palma and the airport are easily accessible by bus. The beach was 1 minute away, the balcony looked out onto the street, where restaurants, bazaar, everything was close to the hotel. The noise from the street was not disturbing. There are beautiful beaches and coves within walking distance. The room was beautiful and clean, with a turquoise color scheme. The receptionist was very nice and gave us all the information we needed.

    Lovely resort with amazing views. Although only small there is a good choice of bars & restaurants especially near the beach including one on a small island reached by a boardwalk. Easy access to Palma by car or local bus. Lots of lovely walks nearby.

    Lovely hotel with a brilliant beach on the doorstep. Excellent food from buffet breakfast, to poolside lunches and a la carte dinners. Room very comfortable with all amenities, very clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Close to restaurants, food outlets, small supermarkets and shops. Close to taxis and buses. Will definitely return.

    Beautiful bay and scenery!

    Beautiful bay and scenery! Great restaurants in the area like Maria 5 (great Sushi!!) and restaurant Illeta. Short distance to Port Andratx (less than 10 mins by car). The beach is family friendly, clear water and sand beach but gets very crowdy. Nice for families since it’s a nice buzzy town but not a party town.

    Camp de Mar is a small resort but has everything needed, most importantly a gorgeous beach and wonderful surrounding scenery. A few shops, a reasonable selection of bars/restaurants, and some small supermarkets. There is an excellent bus service to either Andratx one way or Palma the other. Peguera is livelier and just about 5 mins drive, or Santa Ponsa a little further. Taxis are hit & miss which can be frustrating, and seemingly difficult to order unless it’s an airport run. The resort has grown significantly over the years we have been visiting, but still an absolute favourite for us

    Great resort. Mostly Spanish visitors . Enough restaurants and bars. Beach has secure boxes on sun umbrella stands for belongings eg keys etc . Probably too quiet for families with teenagers and young adults. Other more lively resorts within taxi ride. Beautiful surrounding area area. Toilets on beach. Also facilities for people with disabilities. A portable hoist on beach/toilet area and beach friendly very large wheeled beach buggies for disabled people to enjoy beach and get into water. Very insightful.

    Camp de Mar is a small but lovely beach resort for those looking for a relaxing holiday. There is a good choice of accommodation and a number of bars and restaurants in the area. There is a very short prom for a stroll. For those looking for longer walks, there are lovely footpath/tracks to the neighbouring resorts of Paguera and Cala Fornels. There is a steep climb and descent through the woods. In the opposite direction is a walk via road and woodland track to Port Andraitx. Public transport in the area is good. Camp de Mar is not recommended for those looking for a lively holiday.

    The beach was incredible, we went to other beaches around the island but Playa Camp de Mar was by far the best and most comfortable. The hotel was super comfortable, the rooms were spacious and clean. The buffet was good too, especially for breakfast, dinner was sometimes hit and miss. There were couple of good restaurants nearby that were walking distance, Restaurant Illeta in particular was incredible.

It is a very practical hotel and family minded. And the access to the beautiful waters from the sea, without being crowded. We will make this hotel our place again when we next come back to Mallorca.
