Cute hotel in a sleepy town. Off the beaten path. Definitely a 3 star mostly for excellent service. Hotel is two buildings one across the street where we stayed. New mini split heater in the room.

The location is perfect in the old town. It’s a lovely historic property with bags of character. The “suite” is a lovely room with direct access to the wonderful garden and small swimming pool. The owner, Werner, is delightful and even comes to meet you in his car to direct you to the property.
Hostal San Miguel is located in the historic center of Trujillo, 25 minutes’ drive from Cáceres. This guest house features rooms with TV’s, private bathrooms and some have a balcony.

All staff were so friendly and made us feel welcome immediately. We had one small problem in the room, and it was taken care of right away.
The room was very clean and fresh and quite large. Air con/heat unit in room. We had a room with a view of a charming back garden and old Spanish rooftops. Very peaceful and quiet. Loved it!
Very basic accommodation - no extras like coffee pot in room. There was hand soap and shampoo packets, but no bath soap or hair conditioner. No big deal though!
