The hotel is amazing! breakfast is above excellent and the staff is very professional and kind at all times. it’s a huge hotel but the atmosphere is very friendly. we spent here our honeymoon and it was the best choice!

I stayed at Hotel Faro for 4 nights as a solo traveler and I loved everything about this hotel! The location is absolutely perfect - directly by the ocean and the dunes, and super close to the bus stop, the overall design of the hotel is incredibly chic but my hotel room still felt very comfortable and the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. Thank you!!

the staff were all amazing nothing was too much trouble . it is surrounded by beautiful mountains with sea views. great facilities, delicious food, beautiful pool, tennis court and gardens with secluded areas to relax! large room with great views . we arrived late due to flight delays but greeted by the lovely Nadja (who works so hard always with a smile! ) with a large platter of delicious food !

The hotel is built in a very modern style, and we really enjoyed the pools. We had a room with outside bath, which gave us an enhanced feeling of privacy. Breakfast has a lot of tasty options to choose from and staff is very helpful, with a smile on their face at all times. The place is a short distance from the beach, but the hotel provides a regular bus there and back (we didn’t use it tho as we hired our own car). Overall, would greatly recommend!

We had an amazing stay at Riu and I cannot compliment enough how wonderful the staff was during our entire stay. Very attentive, helpful and friendly. Room was big, the cleaning was exceptional and the food was very tasty, with a lot of variety. The hotel is also right on the beach and a short walk to the Maspalomas dunes. Would highly recommend this resort, thank you Riu staff for the hospitality.

The Unique side was very good, warmed pool. Location very good. BUT we visited the hotel spa which was wonderful and really very nice ...unitil when we started to leave all my husbands belongings were taken from the locker- it just was empty, although we were almost the last very few guests there. The staff was not helpful at all and all of it was really very very strange. So it ruined our experience.

    Very nice town for family holiday, you can find all you want, hotels, beaches, restaurants, markets, palms, there are interesting places close to town, like Palmitos Park, harbour in Puerto Rico, Poema del Mar in Las Palmas. Only one problem is to find parking place near sea and avoid car towage by local police :-)

    Lacy’s apartment made Maspalomas very good for us, otherwise it’s too busy and fabricated. It’s for mass Turism but attractive places though. The sunset and a good walk in dunes far from the mirador 🤩 The high quality of the massages at Hannam and wellness and again the high standard of Lacy’s apartment and the high standard of their service. .Must go to eat fish at the fishermen’s cooperative in Arguineguín .Visit puerto Mogán And Fataga not too far and easy drive up in the mountain

    I have not visited Maspalomas for about fifteen years,and...

    I have not visited Maspalomas for about fifteen years,and headed for the Yumbo Centre,where most of the night life,bars and restaurants are. It has really deteorated,and looks very tired.The bars and restaurants are still good,but the actual framework of the centre needs serious investment.Quite scruffy overall.

    The area is lovely and just a stone's throw from El Faro, where all the best restaurants and shops are and also a stone's throw to Yumbo shopping centre and very entertaining night life. It's far enough away from both to be tranquil, but only a few euros in a taxi.

    The whole resort of Maspalomas is very upmarket with lots of lovely restaurants, bars and shops. The standard of the food and service in the restaurants and bars is fantastic and very friendly. The beach backed by the sand dunes and nature reserve is beautiful and the sunsets over the lighthouse and sea front are exceptional, with many coming to watch in the evening. There is a bus station in town with regular local buses to other resorts, the market at Puerto de Mogan each Friday and the city of Las Palmas, which is definitely worth a visit. We stayed there for a week one year and it is a vibrant and historic city, with a wonderful cathedral, a thriving food scene, designer shops and a magnificent beach.

    Maspalomas has very nice parts around the resorts and beach, nice promenade along the sea, but if you go a little bit away, there is not much to see. I believe,there is nothing like a city center. The parking close to beach and promenade was good accesible and not expensive. There are very good restaurants around the promenade.

    Clean and a goodnight sleep, good WiFi and comms with the host. Expected less from previous reviews but surprising nice. This is in a residential complex so there are families with children, but they weren’t up late at all and their noise in previous reviews certainly didn’t bother me. A previous review mentioned ants - you will get these on any food if you leave it out but that’s the same across the whole of Gran Canaria in fairness. There was washing up supplies left too

    We liked Maspalomas/ Meloneras area from many perspectives, but about the hotel Los Calderones we especially liked the location in quiet area and being close enough to beach and restaurants to walk, hotel facilities and room in general, wide selection of options for breakfast, pool area, live music at the bar area every evening, BUT above all the nice and friendly and supportive personnel at the reception. Muchas gracias and we consider to return :)

    Great location 5 minute walk from the beach and sea front restaurants/bars. Lovely apartment with comfy bed, clean bacthroom. Everything you need for a great stay. Andrzej welcome us on arrical and was really helpful when there was a small mishap with our water being turned off. All sorted super swiftly! Perfect place for our holiday on the excellent Gran Canaria - we had a wonderful time.

    Perfect location on Gran Canaria, near dunes. We had a room with a view of dunes and the sea. Every night there were events with live singers. Cocktails were amazing, pool was great, snacks at the pool were outstanding and the most important the staff were very kind and nice.
