Large comfortable room with plenty of towels. Happy to store our bicycles in a locked garage. Supper was good and an excellent selection for breakfast with lots of cake! Road going north from here was quiet for cycling.

A wonderful experience in a rural setting. The staff were so kind. Delicious home cooked food. If you’re vegetarian let them know in advance and they’ll provide something. Everything was clean. Very good value for money. Hope to return.

We arrived late at night, because it was raining and we were on motorcycles. The host was waiting for us, the room was very warm, which was a godsend for some wet riders, and she still offered us dinner even though it was way past the hour. Impeccable hospitality.

Tino and his family run the most beautiful and friendly place! They made us feel so welcome and gave great recommendations for the area. The food is incredible and great value at their restaurant and all you can hear from the rooms are an occasional cow bell, simply wonderful! I am already missing it and cannot recommend it enough! A great location for walking alongside the reservoir.

A great location for walking alongside the reservoir. Beautiful views. We also went on a lovely boat trip around the reservoir. Another day we went on a 4 hour excursion in a comfortable 4x4 jeep with a charming and very informative guide to see bison and other wild animals in the mountains. That was amazing. Riano itself is a small pueble, easy to walk around and we ended up eating a lot at Luigis, which had excellent food and a varied menu, also a terrace overlooking the reservoir. Riano is also very close to the Picos de Europe national park.

Plan your trip and make the most out of it. It’s a beautiful location to start your mountain adventure . There are only two Spar shops, but there are many restaurants and a petrol station. You can also enjoy different aquatic amenities such as kayaking. People in Riaño are very friendly and warm.

The fjords of León!!! A beautiful place. It is a quaint town full of activities to do and people to chat with. Everyone is friendly and caring. The place is lush and I definitely want to go back in winter to see the snow all over

Ria itself sits in the heart of some of the best biking...

Ria itself sits in the heart of some of the best biking roads in the region, the town is very limited in what it offers above this and the locals all seem devoid of any desire to interact with visitors and on the face of it, quite miserable.

Riano is nice mainly due to the beautiful views! We wouldn't stay for more than one night as there's not too much to do and the bars/restaurants weren't great. One of the nicest restaurants we've ever been to is a short 10 minute drive from town, and it's called Venta de Eslonza. The apartment was good value for money, with a small balcony. The beds were comfortable, although we prefer a double bed.

Family-run local hotel right in the centre of town. Easy street parking right in front of the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable and we loved the small balcony with a table and chairs overlooking the lake. Very good value for money. The hosts were all friendly and helpful. Each morning we had the full breakfast (paid I think €8) which was very, very good and great value. Highly recommend.

The location and overall apparent that is relatively new and with excellent cleanliness and comfortable. When we stayed in Riano it was the festivals week even with the party loud music we could sleep with no problem. If I' come back to Riano I will pick again this apartment

Beautiful appartment in a very attractive part of Spain. View on the lake from one of the rooms. Spacious, perfect for 4 people. Riaño is an amazing place and it seems still undiscovered as it was quiet and not crowded with tourists.
