Easy walking between sights. Good choice of cafes and restaurants. Particularly recommend restaurant Estilo ...had a drink and one tapas in the bar then up to the dining room where we shared a large plate of grilled vegetables and a steak and chips, which they kindly served on two plates, the two pieces of steak were quite sufficient for us! If you want a change from meat, La Almuzarra serves great pizzas, not too large, pasta and salads . All very fresh and delicious, just up the road from the hotel.
Segovia is one of those cities in Spain that lacks advertisement. We found out about it through a Spanish friend, who said it was a must see and he was right! Segovia is incredibly beautiful with its Alcázar, Aqueduct and Royal Palace of La Granja de San Ildefonso. If we didn’t have other hotel accommodations booked in another city, we would have extended our stay. Segovia is a must see if you visit Spain.
Segovia is pleasant. A place at human scale. If you are into history of art, like I am, there are lots of Romanesque churches, although unfortunately they are closed most of the time. You have to programme your visit during mass time. I found Segovia charming, generally. Its geography is very interesting.
We liked everything that Segovia had to offer. We were only there for 2 nights as we were travelling onto somewhere else. We could have spent another day there just go into places to visit. We did manage to go into the church which was very interesting.
Sergovia had been recommended by friends and it exceeded our expectations, we loved it. The aqueduct was totally amazing. We didn't go in but the walk to the castle was worth it just to view it from the lovely square - beautiful
Segovia is a lovely city in a beautiful setting, and worth visiting for the amazing Roman aqueduct and the Alcazar. The only negative for us is the crowding - it was quite busy with tourists and locals on the weekend we were there. If you have the option, I would recommend visiting during the week, and not during the peak season.
Segovia
Location and the apartment itself are unbeatable. We could see the castle from our window. Everything was super new and modern (we had the ground floor unit at the back) Probably the nicest place we stayed in Spain for that price range. Parking near the property is easy and you can take an amazing walk straight from your backyard all the way up to the castle (if you can handle some stairs). Would definitely recommend this place to anyone!
The most impressive hotel of our trip through France and Spain Amazing city centre location, a brilliant room with a phenomenal view across the main square. They even left a towel for our dog to use! We have eaten burgers all over the world but the BEST we have even had was from Foster's Hollywood, Segovia. Phenomenal! Valet parking in a secure car park, the hotel sorts out the access permit with the police for you.
Segovia
Excellent staff, good breakfast - and by sheer good fortune we even managed to park for free right outside - the rooms were full of storage space, and cunningly designed to minimise sound (a major problem all over in Spain). For all that, the occasional street noise and some from reception in the small hours woke me.
Segovia
André was incredibly helpful at check-in, giving us a map and reviewed the highlights and best routes to take as well as places to grab dinner. Was very much appreciated as we only had limited time in Segovia. Was nice to have the kitchen amenities as well.
the room and hotel were great. location near everything and outdoor garden area and castle view were amazing. we did not have the breakfast but had coffee in the room. we brought our own kettle and tea. there was a mini fridge which was helpful for snacks.
Great view from balcony over Segovia. Comfortable spacious hotel with views from café and restaurant too. Easy drive into Segovia – parked in underground carpark by viaduct in day and on the street running up to viaduct in the evening.
What a wonderful place to stay in Segovia. The hotel is an old renaissance palace rebuilt into accomodation units. The stairs and the patio are beautiful, ceilings are from wood. The staff was nice. Shame we stayed only one night.
Segovia
There is a common space super nice where you can just relax. The 'cafeteria' is open 24h, you have always water, juices, yoghurts and cereals available. The better part is the location, right next to Segóvia Aqueduct
Lovely hotel just a little outside of the center of Segovia, only a 6 euro taxi ride into town. Totally worth it as parking in the city center is extremely difficult. Large outdoor parking lot at hotel a plus.
Very clean and comfortable ooms. Nice location just in the centre. Very good contact with reception - important in Covid times. I recommend this hotel to all tourists travelling to Segovia.
Very nice hotel located 5 minutes from the main square and 15 minutes from the historical sights. Staff was very accommodating.
Location, location, location. Hotel is at the perfect spot in Segovia. The hotel staff at the reception were very friendly.
This hotel is in a historical building with charm and character. Comfortable beds, a lovely dining area and quiet location.
