Easy walking between sights. Good choice of cafes and restaurants. Particularly recommend restaurant Estilo ...had a drink and one tapas in the bar then up to the dining room where we shared a large plate of grilled vegetables and a steak and chips, which they kindly served on two plates, the two pieces of steak were quite sufficient for us! If you want a change from meat, La Almuzarra serves great pizzas, not too large, pasta and salads . All very fresh and delicious, just up the road from the hotel.
Segovia is one of those cities in Spain that lacks advertisement. We found out about it through a Spanish friend, who said it was a must see and he was right! Segovia is incredibly beautiful with its Alcázar, Aqueduct and Royal Palace of La Granja de San Ildefonso. If we didn’t have other hotel accommodations booked in another city, we would have extended our stay. Segovia is a must see if you visit Spain.
Segovia is pleasant. A place at human scale. If you are into history of art, like I am, there are lots of Romanesque churches, although unfortunately they are closed most of the time. You have to programme your visit during mass time. I found Segovia charming, generally. Its geography is very interesting.
We liked everything that Segovia had to offer. We were only there for 2 nights as we were travelling onto somewhere else. We could have spent another day there just go into places to visit. We did manage to go into the church which was very interesting.
Sergovia had been recommended by friends and it exceeded our expectations, we loved it. The aqueduct was totally amazing. We didn't go in but the walk to the castle was worth it just to view it from the lovely square - beautiful
Segovia is a lovely city in a beautiful setting, and worth visiting for the amazing Roman aqueduct and the Alcazar. The only negative for us is the crowding - it was quite busy with tourists and locals on the weekend we were there. If you have the option, I would recommend visiting during the week, and not during the peak season.
If you are driving from Santander to the south coast of Spain, this is the perfect hotel. Huge secure parking area and a hotel with a stunning view from the terrace. A lovely swimming pool to cool down after the drive and a great restaurant with a good menu on offer for your evening meal. Or you can walk into town to the many bars and restaurants. The view from this hotel is just stunning and worth it for a one night stopover.
The most impressive hotel of our trip through France and Spain Amazing city centre location, a brilliant room with a phenomenal view across the main square. They even left a towel for our dog to use! We have eaten burgers all over the world but the BEST we have even had was from Foster's Hollywood, Segovia. Phenomenal! Valet parking in a secure car park, the hotel sorts out the access permit with the police for you.
Segovia
This was one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had! The hotel was beautiful and very comfortable. My partner and I were traveling for a special occasion and the hotel staff made our stay extra special. The hotel was centrally located and it was very easy to get around Segovia and walk to the main sights including the Alcazar and the Aqueduct. I would strongly recommend this hotel to anybody!
The location of this hotel is perfect for exploring the fabulous city of Segovia. Our room was of a good size on the first floor, with good access via two elevators. A very good nights sleep was had both nights due to the comfortable bed and the room being away from the main street. A very good breakfast and plenty of choice. All in all two excellent nights in Segovia.
This hotel is really well located, a 5 minute walk from Segovia's main attractions and it was this that made us choose this place over any other. Parking is a bit expensive , there are cheaper underground garages in the city, but they were kind to let us keep the car in the garage after checkout while we visited the city. Breakfast was good too.
The location is amazing and check in and check out were very easy. If you have a lot of bags then you may have more difficulty, but they provided detailed information about how to drive closer to the hotel if needed. I would stay again, it was great to have a little balcony overlooking the square and extra room to hang out.
Beautiful hotel in a fantastic location within walking distance of all the main sights of Segovia. Spacious and grand feel with all the original features and character of the convent maintained whilst being tastefully refurbished to a very high standard. A truly unique and special place to stay.
We stay here every year on our way to Southern Spain we find the Hotel and Staff excellent. The rooms are enormous and Bathrooms quite luxurious and the staff are very friendly and go out of their way to help. Would highly recommend
Honestly I don’t know why it is rated a 3 star hotel because it is so much better. Really comfortable and close to city centre, they also hold your luggage wjile you are out enjoying the beutiful Segovia. Great buffett breakfast.
Segovia
There is a common space super nice where you can just relax. The 'cafeteria' is open 24h, you have always water, juices, yoghurts and cereals available. The better part is the location, right next to Segóvia Aqueduct
Location is fantastic 5 minute walk from the cathedral. The hotel clearly has history and is atmospheric. The hotel has a garage which is a bonus . Restaurants are great and Cochinillo is a must, for non vegetarians !
It's the best , clean hotel . The staff were very helpful and have good manner . We really enjoy everything about this hotel . Close to the every places we wanted to visit . Good parking space.
Segovia
Location is perfect for short visit to Segovia. The owner gave us a map and recommendations what to see and where to eat. We followed owner's advice an were very happy with the outcomes. Thanks!
Hotel is correct but definitely not at the level of 4 stars. For one night in segovia with not too high demanding requirement , i recommend to stay inside the city center
The best thing about this hotel is its location, very close to the Aqueduct. Breakfast is ok.
Very original hotel right in the centre of Segovia
