Nice cottage with views near by National park of South Konnevesi. Perfect for short (or longer) family stay. Our stay was only single night on the way home. Visited national park for a short hike on following morning and had morning swim on the clear water lake.

Hotel Carneval is a long standing hotel in Suonenjoki, one of the just few there is. The facilities have been upgraded selectively over time, but you can still grasp few elements from the past century if you pay attention. The front of the hotel occasionally turns into a music club and bar, one of the few social spots in town. The staff was friendly and flexible, even though I didn’t see a dinner menu available, they cooked up a great tasting burger and fries on request.
