Tanoa Waterfront Hotel is located in Lautoka and is a convenient stopover from Mamanuca and Yasawa Islands. A 25-minute drive from Nadi Airport, it offers a pool and free parking. The rooms and the breakfast were really good. And the staff were very helpful.
Anchorage Beach Resort is a tranquil boutique resort with its own secluded beach. It is located 15 minutes north of Nadi International airport and 10 minutes from Lautoka city. Stayed there with my children and it is peaceful and quiet and it is home away from home. The facilities in our room was self contained and had everything including a washer.and dryer
Located among tropical landscaped gardens opposite Nadi International Airport, Tokatoka Resort Hotel Nadi offers free transfers to and from Nadi Airport. All rooms have a private terrace or balcony. Friendly and helpful staff. Thank you for decent sized mugs in the kitchenette. :)
Located just 4 minutes' drive or 10 minutes' walk from the main terminal at Nadi International Airport, Westfield Fiji Homestay features free WiFi and free car parking. The rooms were very neat and tidy, and also had all the essential facilities available - bathroom, toilet, kitchen area, etc. Great value for money.
Located in Nadi, 5 miles from Garden of the Sleeping Giant, Airport Ace Hotel has accommodations with a restaurant, free private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a bar. The hotel is immaculately clean, it’s a walking distance from the airport (if you love walking - 1 mile). Staff is super attentive and very friendly!
The absolute beachfront Serenity Island Resort features a bar, a restaurant and a swimming pool. All accommodations offers beach or garden views. Absolutely stunning island! Very nice staff, it was all clean and just want you need when you want to relax. It was all perfect , just the food was very basic althought sell like haute cuisine and not varied ( same menu of 4 mains and two entrees vor 5 days) But that was really the only bad point during our stay.
We had 5 nights there, 4 would have been better. It is a good base for day trips both to the coast and inland. We don't like resorts that much so it was easy to go into town. There are not a lot of restaurant options and no real book shops either but the locals are very friendly. Standard taxi fare from Nadi Airport is FJD40.
Lautoka town itself was good to visit. We wandered through their farmers fruit & veg market which was very large and very clean. It was easy enough for us to navigate our own way around the town. We were only there for dinner so didnt see too much. A local suggested we eat at “Tigers” restaurant so we did. A little disappointed to find they didn’t serve local fare and instead it was pizza and Chinese takeout. However, we spent FJD$17 for 3 of us, for dinner! Our 5 year old had two slices of pizza which were quite tasty and my hubby and I had fried rice and vegetable chop suey. The portions were huge!! We could’ve had HALF of one of the servings between both of us! 😂 definitely got our money’s worth!
You probably need a whole day to explore Lautoka city is wonderful :) Don’t forget Garden of the sleeping Giants it’s beautiful! Chilli Tree cafe in town is a lovely clean cafe with aircon and good food! Tappoos mall is good to walk around and escape the heat a while :) Great market with an excellent little craft section!
Lautoka is good for shopping. Much better and cleaner than the neighboring Nadi, no pushy sales people trying to rip off tourists. The fresh produce markets are cheap and a good place to grab some fruit. There’s a mall if you want that otherwise shop in the smaller local shops on the street.
There is a beautiful island called Bekana Island just a four minute boat ride away from across the hotel. Gloriously unspoilt with crystal clear water. $10 return with the speedboat on call. I believe that Survivor America will be filmed there from February to October 2018 (approx). South Seas Club has the greatest curries ever.Try the fish curry and the duck curry as well as the fried fish. It's in an industrial area but once inside you can sit on the waters edge. My friend told me that this is where the "movers and shakers" go. Only a few minutes away from the hotel. It's a must try for serious curry lovers.Enjoy Lautoka and don't forget to go to the markets to enjoy the sights, sounds and taste of beautiful fruits and veges. So cheap too. Caroline S.
Wasn't overly keen of Lautoka. Having been on a bumpy bus for about 45 minutes (having said that it was very entertaining) the place was dirty. Maybe because we were bus station end and felt uneasy, so didn't stay very long
Breakfast was good, staff were brilliant, pool was nice also. Strong aircon. The hotel is walking distance to shops or a very cheap taxi ride to get around locally if you dont want to walk in the hot weather :)
Every things where very good and I would recommend it to any one who wants to stay in Lautoka and visit their families
lovey little hotel with a great atmosphere. nice bar and such lovely friendly staff.

Good location. It is easy to rent a car or a tour from the hotel. Nice and cheerful service. Clean and spacious rooms.
The room exceeded our expectations. The staff was super helpful and very welcoming. The experience was overall outstanding.
