The apartment is below the owner’s home. The parking is convenient. The bathroom is quite large and there is a full kitchen. The couch becomes quite a large bed. Loved the little local flairs in the kitchen. Owner is incredible responsive to any questions I had. Location is almost directly next to Gøta house museum and a 6 min walk to a small grocery store.

The setting of the home was gorgeous, slightly raised offering a commanding view over the fjord, and the house was fantastic!! Exceeding my expectations. It was very large a full three-bedroom home and was designed with such personality and warmth. This was our favorite place of accommodation in our weeks travel of the Faroe Islands. Our only disappointment was that we never got to meet the host as he was out of the country, but he sounded for caring and warm on the phone.

What’s not to like? Granted it’s nearly the only accommodations in this quaint, isolated hamlet but the staff & property rival some of the nicest hotels we have stayed in. We arrived before our room was ready & were served tea in a lovely alcove while we waited. That was a lovely greeting on a cool damp day.
