This is a fabulous budget hotel. Sebastian was a wonderful host and accomodated our late arrival. Breakfast was delicious and a great value. We would stay here again the next time we’re in the area!

The place is picturesque with spacious well-kept grounds and an old Norman church a short walk to the street corner. Quiet, in the midst of peaceful farmland, with historic Ste. Mere Eglise next door and Carentan (of "Band of Brothers" fame) and Omaha beach a short drive away, William the Conqueror's Bayeux an hour. The unit we stayed in was a small but complete apartment with living room, bedroom, kitchen, and bath. Slept so well. Laure is a treasure among hostesses. We will always treasure our memories of this place. We hope to return someday.

    Just outside St Mere Eglise and the D Day coast.

    Just outside St Mere Eglise and the D Day coast. Used the house as our base to visit Bayeax and Falaise plus lots of places associated with landings. We loved the gite which came with ensuite bathrooms for every room We were looking for a rural location but near enough to the town. We ate in the house with the patron chef cooking a great evening meal. You will love his soufle course and cod on veloute with brown shrimps...the wine was good as well Rooms were well furnished and the owner has a comprehensive collection of films if your knowledge of the events of d day is a little rusty.
