Our stay was perfect from check-in to check-out. Our hosts were so accommodating and helpful, in particular, giving us guidance on things to see and do in the area, and places to eat. Breakfast in the sunny breakfast room was wonderful.

Great location in the historic city center. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We stayed in one of their apartments a couple blocks from the main building, and every day breakfast would be hand-delivered to us. They were also able to arrange parking.
Dinan itself was a great place as a home base to explore the area - close to St-Malo and Mont St-Michel but quieter and with its own historic charm. Be sure and climb the clock tower (just a few steps from the hotel) for the view!

Walking along the central old streets was time out of mind.
Walking along the central old streets was time out of mind. The cobbles are as in many old cities, and some streets are steep, so walking requires attention and some stamina. There are so many half-timbered houses, it's almost like a movie set, except it's a real, living town. Le Cosy provided a fantastic dinner with friendly staff. The central old church (St. Sauveur) has 12th c. tombs of knights.

Dinan is a great place to stay.
Dinan is a great place to stay. There are plenty if places to eat and drink. The old town is fascinating and the castle is well worth visiting. There are walks by the river.
It might not be suitable for visitors with mobility issues. The road to the port is very steep.
Our apartment was on the first floor up a steep flight of stairs so, again, not appropriate for someone with mobilty issues.

Dinan is beautiful and we are sorry that we were only staying for 1 night as part of an organised event. We ate at La Terrasse by the old bridge on the river. The food and staff were excellent. We were able to walk from and to our apartment through the old town without problem. Just be aware that it is steep walking back up from the river to the pedestrianised area of the newer town.

Cafe culture, beautiful views, charming and vibrant town sq with weekly market. Tranquil. Too much to see in one day. Take a two hour electric hire boat with a picnic down the river. Eat Moules until you can't move and relax.

Charming place, especially the port.
Charming place, especially the port. No boats - while we were there -to St Malo because of the tides, as the river is tidal up to Dinan. The older part is almost traffic free. Fascinating shops, deli's, market on Thursday.
This was an exceptionally nice apartment - with real character and in a fantastic location in the centre of Dinan. The rooms felt very much like a home and the sense of space and light was really good.
Given its location there are plenty of parking opportunities nearby.
In a good location in Dinan Port. Close to a number of good restaurants and a 10/15 minute walk uphill to Dinan old town. Comfortable standard size room. The hotel has a nice pool.
Location in the centre of Dinan is great. The hotel is clean and comfortable. Has a lovely garden area. Off-street parking for our motorbikes was handy.
