Easy to find, free parking, comfortable bed and bath, great location - really everything I needed for a stopover in Dourdan before heading to Orly. A very fine choice for the price if you want to be in a charming small town with quick access to Paris.

Joao had thought of every little detail. The tiny house is spotlessly clean and through inventive placement of things such as a sink for hand washing on top of the water container in the toilet, everything fits. The bed is large and very comfortable, the shower is great. Breakfast was second to none. Beautiful garden! Definitely recommend.

Great host--always good communication, offered local eating and sightseeing tips. Couldn't be more central, and lots of good food options available just steps away. Train station easy 5 minute walk from room. Great view of the Chateau!

    Ideal location - pretty town and good facilities. The hotel was very good - right in the centre of town and parking available on site - Blanche de Castilllo. Great place to stay overnight when travelling through France.

    Lovely hotel warm and friendly staff and great resturant.

    Lovely hotel warm and friendly staff and great resturant. The town is a great place to walk around and it’s a perfect stop over returning to Uk. It took us 1 hour to drive leaving at 10 am on a Monday to get round Paris and to pass Charles De Galles airport too.

    A lovely historic town.

    A lovely historic town. We had dinner at the Pizza Restaurant next to the Castle which was really lovely and very popular. It was nothing fancy just pizzas, pasta and reasonably prized wine. There are a few patisserie shops with amazing cakes we’ll worth giving them a try. There was a market on the morning that we left (Saturday) with an abundance of local produce, beautifully arranged and very appealing. All extremely fresh and well worth buying.

    It was perfect for our overnight stay.

    It was perfect for our overnight stay. It is a charming place, lovely old castle to walk around, great Saturday market, dinner on the hotel's terrace was delicious, breakfast was excellent. Staff were friendly and efficient.

    As we arrived late and left early i couldn't really comment...

    As we arrived late and left early i couldn't really comment on Dourdan centre. There was a market being set up the morning we left and the castle at the top looked like it would've been worth a visit. Overall i think Dourdan is a busy little place and maybe go back one day for a more in depth look around. The hotel was in a lovely setting with good friendly staff and good food to seal the deal.

    Very highly recommended. It is so comfortable with a very clever interior design and beautifully decorated. I found everything I needed and very much appreciated the cold beer in the fridge after a long journey from UK! Very well placed and a few minutes walk to the centre of town. I was in Dourdan to visit a close relative in hospital there, also a short walk away . I will not hesitate to rebook.

    I could see the Château de Dourdan and a part of old town though the balcony. The room was a sense of coziness and charming. And there was a fruit shop on the ground floor of the house and a bakery next to it, so it was very convenient. Moreover, I am grateful for the kindness of the hostess.
