Of the places we stayed in France, this was the children’s favorite due to the extended yard and play area. It was very quiet and right off the bike trail. The owners were lovely and well suited to hospitality. It was amazing to see how they are bringing this historic property back to life.

Mylene is an exceptional host, she and her partner invited us to a drink and even drive us to the nearest restaurant since their place is a bit far from the nearest village (note: we were traveling by bike, but it's not far if you have a car).

Wonderful room hosted by a very friendly and polite couple. The room and bed were very comfortable with a spacious shower outside our door. The breakfeast served was 5* and more generous than we needed or expected. We arrived on bikes which was no problem as they were secured and sheltered.

Gabriel hotel was perfect for our group of two couples. It is a cute boutique hotel right below the fortress, with a 10 minute walk to restaurants and shopping. The rooms were well equipped, a good size, newer fixtures and decorating and very clean. We stayed in the second building that had a garden and our room had its own rooftop terrace. It was very quaint and quiet and the perfect location. Free parking was available down the street.
