Comfortable traveler hotel, walking distance to a big nearby artificial lake with a nice boardwalk, a wide beach area offering several activities, and one or two small restaurants. Just 500m further down left the lake shore you will find yourself in a natural environment. A higher class restaurant with a big lake view terrace and modern interiors can also be found close by. The hotel facilitates an indoor swimming pool and a big breakfast room. The breakfast is quite good with a broad selection. We stayed there for just a stop-over when travelling to the Loire valley. We felt pity to leave that place already after just one night.

Very good place, with indoor swimming pool and a funny minigolf. Wonderful brasserie where we had a delicious breakfast. A very big free parking area outside. Very nice stay.

Very friendly host, we arrived very late as a stopping point on way through France and they were very accommodating. With free parking in a secure spot. Lovey continental breakfast provided also. Dog friendly and everything was great.

    We ate in the hotel restaurant, recommended. We walked a short way to the lake with the dogs which was very pleasant, The village church was very interesting construction. We did not go to the nearby resort area with beach and watersports but have been previously. The lake path is perfect for walking or cycling

    This is a third time in Mesnil - Saint-Pere, but our 1st...

    This is a third time in Mesnil - Saint-Pere, but our 1st time at this hotel & probably our last there are better available. We stay here on our way back from the Italian Alps usually at the end of March or early April, just as spring is starting. The lake is quite stunning and on a sunny warm spring day it really is a great place to be despite the fact that most things are closed. There is a good brasseries called the belvedere which is great , good food and great view over the lake.

    Pleasant hotel in the Foret de Orient area, we stayed just one night as a stop over on a longer journey. Staff were lovely and kind, but service generally was very slow. Dinner service was much better and the food and wine delicious.The swimming pool was pleasant, although the surrounds a little tatty. A short walk took us the the lakeside path, which was beautiful.

    This is a modern hotel with some character. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We were travelling with two small dachshunds and they were made welcome. The dinner in the evening was quite special and well presented. At breakfast, there was a good variety and choice. All in all, a very comfortable and enjoyable overnight stay.

    The hotel is located in a pretty French village. It looked perfect from the outside, and as I was to find out, perfect inside. We were the only guests. The chef, a very pleasant gentleman, provided a wonderful veggie meal. The receptionists were truly nice people. The bed was so comfortable.
