A perfect destination for a short break or weekend.
A perfect destination for a short break or weekend. About 90 minutes from the Channel Tunnel, makes it an easy journey from the UK. Lots of very good restaurants and a nice market to visit on a Saturday. Excellent parking facilities which makes the whole town very accessible. We didn't have as much time to wander around as last year. However the town has some lovely historic buildings and pretty squares and you can wander around the old citadelle. On our first stay we dined in the restaurant and had an excellent meal, unfortunately when we returned it was on a Wednesday and the restaurant was closed. We had the same room for both stays, quite adequate for a one night stopover with access to wifi and we had a good continental breakfast on our first stay.
