The room could do with a kettle as not everyone wants a coffee machine.

The location is perfect - only a short walk from the old town. There's free parking at the station, just across the road. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable and the breakfast was good. We didn't eat in the restaurant, but there's a very attractive terrace at the front of the hotel - perfect for a last drink in the evening. We'd be happy to stay again if we were in the area.
Obernai is a beautiful town with medieval ramparts.
Obernai is a beautiful town with medieval ramparts. The market on Thursday mornings was up on the ramparts which we really enjoyed. We didn't particularly enjoy the food at the restaurant but the beer and wine was great. There are storks nesting above the town centre which were fascinating! We drove about 20 minutes to Mont Saint Odile - wonderful views and very interesting.

We have stayed here a couple of times before and always enjoyed it. We stayed in room 110. The rooms are nice, clean, but very warm, there is a fan provided which did go a little to helping. Kettle provided.
This time we were very pleased to find that you could book secure private parking on the hotel premises for 7 euros a day which was easily accessed and quality because of the parking in Obernai itself. Also bonus market on the Ramparts behind the hotel on Thursday morning.
My only criticism was the breakfast. The bread and croisants were dry and hard, the choice of ham and cheese was minimal. I'm afraid this did not seem the quality of previous years for the amount paid.
Despite this I would recommend this hotel to other travellers especially for the location in the centre of the town.

We had a room designed for someone with a disability.
We had a room designed for someone with a disability. It had wheelchair access although we didn’t use it. The shower/wet room was well designed for the disabled. It had a high rise toilet !! Access to the room/suite was by lift. It couldn’t have been more comfortable and accessible. Great wine and picturesque buildings . Drawback with wheelchair is the cobbled streets but choosing route carefully can obviate this!

Colmar is the best known town in Alsace but Obernai is better! Driving there is a challenge because of the one-way system but there is plenty of parking and the old town needs to be explored on foot. There is an extensive selection of tea shops and restaurants in the old town.

Very pretty town, beautiful region, excellent food all around. There is something for everybody: hikes, medieval castles, beautiful villages, wine tasting, gastronomy and generally professional service
We booked this accomodation on our way back home from Italy because of its reasonable price and proximity to the highway. Obernai appeared to be a lovely Alsacian place for an overnight stay, bustling with restaurants and shops. The accomodation is in one of the restricted traffic streets in the centre, but free parking is available at only a few minutes walking distance. Our room was large and overall comfortable, and we had a great dinner in the restaurant beneath.
It is just what we were looking for, somewhere comfortable to stay for the night during our long drive back home. The room and hotel in general were clean, all up to our expectations, considering the relatively cheap prices compared to expensive nearby Strasbourg.
