I really like the atmosphere of the place and the staff was really friendly. The bubble bath after a long drive was great. The room had the most beautiful room of the castle. Walking distance to everything and the price was great

Marie-linne was a fabulous hostess! She was very welcoming. Our room was stunning. Well, her whole place was stunning! Full of character and like a fairytale! Breakfast was delicious. Homemade bread & croissants, charcuterie & cheese, jam, butter and rice pudding. All presented on vintage china! Truly lovely! The castle is right outside and there are shops and restaurants just a short walk away too.

We visited Pierrefonds because my daughters loved the show...

We visited Pierrefonds because my daughters loved the show Merlin, but found the castle to be so much more than just the set of a TV show. I had read blogs and watch videos about others visiting the castle which mentioned that the town was not much of anything, but we found in to be charming. We would have eaten dinner in the town the night before we visited the castle instead of just grabbing something on the way, but because of the negative feedback I didn't know about the nice looking restaurants on the banks of a small lake.

Pierrefonds is a very cool castle.

Pierrefonds is a very cool castle. We went because my daughter watched the show Merlin and wanted to see it but we all really enjoyed it. The town is also very charming and it worth spending some time in.

Everything about the Villa was fantastic. It is well decorated (much bigger inside than it appears) and equipped with everything for a short stay. I have been visiting Pierrefonds on and off for forty years and it is such a wonderful place to visit. The gite is perfectly located to enjoy all the area has to offer. I cannot recommend this gite enough and if I had the power to score eleven I would.

The location of the property was perfect for an afternoon drink on the terrace looking over to the stunning Chateau de Pierrefonds. Only a short stroll into the heart of the village, it was peaceful and comfortable and I would have happily stayed longer. Sophie was a friendly and helpful host so our enormous thanks to her for sharing her beautiful home :-)

We travelled to Pierrefonds from Ireland to visit the castle, the house was just around the corner from it so the location was ideal! Very clean, comfortable and spacious.
