Very friendly .staff. Gave us the room early. The location was excellent across the train station. The room was of good size, very clean and so was the bathroom. I consider it a good value for the money.

Helpful staff at the Tourist Office; several museums (Musee des Beaux-Arts), some town walks with information boards on the way. Much of the centre is pedestrianised. Plenty of good food (not only crepes, but a large variety of those.) Worth going beyond just the tourist areas (the Cathedral & the Market) for better value & variety. (We liked the Messidor Boulangerie for coffee & croissants.)

It is a pretty city to explore with a variety of architectural styles. The area is dotted with other attractive towns and coastal hikes. Beautiful landscape. Quimper is quite central to lots of nice day trips.

Quimper is an interesting place with decent bars and restaurants history and architecture. Great access to Finistere and the coast. The apartment was in Locmaria district a quirky neighbourhood with its own character and nightlife just a 15 minute stroll into the centre where we ate decent French cuisine and also ate well at Mama Thai as the name suggests it was was Thai food but of the highest order

Attractive historic town with great museums and galleries, cathedral, river walks and gardens but not too touristy (in June 2022). Close to other lovely towns eg Concarneau and Pont Aven plus routes to coastal scenery.

I did not want to visit big cities in France during the pandemic. The city is small but has enough attractions. Since the transportation is well connected, I used the city as a base to explore several places in Finistère.

Quimper is a very central medium size French city.
Quimper is a very central medium size French city. It does have medieval buildings, but it is very much a working city and somewhat gritty. It is not completely dedicated to tourists, which is good and bad. It felt very authentic, but some parts felt less then safe, secure. The best, prettiest area is the main square around the church. The main tourist area is tiny, but nicely pedestrianized. Also the museum of Breton heritage is well-worth a couple hours. Beyond that, not much too see, but Quimper is a great base for the surrounding region.

From $74 per nightI think this was the best equipped apartment since I ever started using booking.com. It is also spacious and perfectly designed. And the location is fantastic, just 50 meters from the cathedral. The free parking Tourbie is just a few hundred meters away, and on the adjacent streets there is a good chance to find parking as well, though it is paid. Jelven, the host, was friendly and efficient. In general, fantastic experience. Merci Jelven, et à la prochaine fois!

A great location of the town. Walking distance to all attractions and good restaurants in the center of Quimper. The apartment was very clean and fully equipped with my needs. The traditional building in the quiet street. The host, Sophie was very helpful. She even searched a local pharmacy where I can convert my US vaccine card to the French pass for me. I will come back again.
