It's one of the few hotels around there with a 24-hour reception, which is super handy if you're arriving late. The hotel and rooms have a charming vibe, and the staff is really friendly. Breakfast was awesome—we even got freshly cooked eggs when we asked. There's public parking right in front of the hotel.

Tournus is a lovely old town full of charm and character.

Tournus is a lovely old town full of charm and character. Abbey at the top river at the bottom. Bars cafes restaurants shops etc. Cycle museum for a rainy afternoon (or if you like bikes) The cycling in the area is great. Would go again no problem

Wonderful town with a magnificent abbey and cloisters.

Wonderful town with a magnificent abbey and cloisters. Pretty abbey square with cafes and bistro. Great shopping centre. Beautiful riverside. Would definitely recommend the Parisian restaurant on the riverside near the bridge. The hotel st philibert is an excellent hotel near the abbey.

We had a wonderful stay at Georgio; it was comfortable, cosy and clean. We arrived late and found it easy to get in and it was a lovely place to relax after a long drive. The location was perfect and the town is quaint and pretty. We had a nice stroll through Tournus in the morning and enjoyed walking by the river and through the market. We thoroughly recommend staying at Georgio and would love to go back.
