My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Brit Hotel for one night during our road trip through France. Our stay was not only comfortable but also deeply heartwarming. After leaving the hotel, I accidentally left a very precious watch in my room. It was a gift from my daughter during her vacation job and held such profound meaning. I was devastated when I realized I had lost it. However, Ms Tea, a housekeeper at the hotel, found the watch and quickly contacted me to ensure its safe return. I was deeply moved by Ms Tea's honesty and attentiveness. She not only demonstrated professional ethics but also made me realize the kindness and beauty of human nature. Such actions deserve praise and sharing! Thank you to Brit Hotel for cultivating such excellent staff and to Ms Tea for making my trip such an unforgettable experience. I hope the hotel will continue to maintain its high-quality service, and I wish Ms Tea all the best in her future endeavors! If you're looking for a warm and thoughtful stay, I highly recommend Brit Hotel!

The location was in a quiet village full of champagne houses. It was a last minute booking and Estelle went above and beyond to make everything perfect, organizing dinner and getting in special breakfast items for my husband. The accommodation was beautifully finished and furnished. The bed was extremely comfortable, everything was immaculately clean. Definitely somewhere that we will visit again.

    Val de Vesle was charming.

    Val de Vesle was charming. It was lush, green, with access to hiking trails in the forests adjacent to Verzy and Verzenay. It was close to Reims (20 minutes by car) so provided plenty of opportunity to sightsee in the historic city. We ate in Verzenay at a local pizza restaurant and enjoyed the thin crust pizza. Getting around Verzenay was easy as there's little traffic. We visited the lighthouse and wine museum and found both of them very interesting in providing information about the history of the area.

    Epernay, about 30 min drive, is a great town for champagne...

    Epernay, about 30 min drive, is a great town for champagne tasting and drinking! Reims, only 20 min away, is a beautiful surprise. With a huge cathedral in the middle of the city that looks like the Notre Dame in Paris, the city has a very romantic allure. Reims has great places for dinner and drinks. The national park naturel régional de la Montagne de Reims is great for hiking and walking, with beautiful views of the vineyards. All in all a great place to stay in the Champagne region!
