Great place to have a refresh about midway on the GR20. Lovely staff, beautiful facilities. Not cheap, but a great value. Food was great (dinner and breakfast). Laundry service available and very easy!

The host were extremely personable and gracious. They spent time with us and made it a genuine Corsican experience. Vincent makes his own Myrtle liquor! Food was awesome!… get dinner here! Beautiful building and rooms with rustic decor

A great place to stay in the mountains, Parking right outside, Wifi and a/c worked well. Lots of walks to be taken. Restaurant with good choice right there and good breakfast. All this for a very reasonable price.

We booked this hotel as a budget option but it turned out to have a large newly furbished room, friendly staff and brilliant food. We decided to eat in the hotel the first night but after a great meal we decided to eat there again for the remaining night of our stay.

We absolutely loved the casual way this place was set up. Great views out over the surrounding mountains, superb rooms and excellent central facilities with really comfortable chairs dotted around a relatively small but decent pool. We enjoyed breakfasts set up in a lounge area and we were able to meet other guests in a a very relaxed manner. We were looked after so well by a lovely girl who didn't speak a lot of English but it did not matter at all as she made us all feel very comfortable and welcome. They also had a great honesty bar system which we took full advantage of when we hung around the pool for virtually a whole day.

We had the most amazing stay here. Beautiful experience. The hosts are lovely and welcoming. The dinner was special right next to the mountains. The night ended playing bocce ball and the hosts singing amongst his friends. The facilities are very clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend.

The host was extremely accommodating and super sweet. The dinner experience was wonderful and the home cooked meal was really delicious. The place was super clean and the outdoor area was lovely. It was the perfect place to end our GR 20 trip.

Old-style country hotel, super clean and comfortable. Great location for hiking in the area. Owner is really nice and provides a very generous (more than I could ever eat) breakfast. There is an excellent local restaurant about 10 minutes walk from the property (Funatello) I highly recommend; ate there 3 consecutive nights.

    Vizzavona is the perfect spot as a base for day hikers, and the ideal stop for through hikers taking a luxury (compared to camping) break. But if you’re not there for Corsica’s great outdoors, then it’s not for you. It’s all about the hiking.

    Great breakfast with a wide selection of food including homemade jams and local cheese. The room was clean and cozy with pastoral ambience. The location is a bit outside of the center of Vizzavona, but bars and restaurants easily reachable by foot. Great place to stay for a hiking trip.

    Beautiful location in a peaceful forest. The hotel itself is beautiful and our room was calm, clean, lovely and comfortable. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and I had a great sleep. Shower was great.

    It was a great location for the GR20, be sure to come off the route early so you don't need to walk up from Vizzavona. Really friendly staff and the breakfast and dinner at the restaurant was excellent.
