we loved the character of the dovey inn and the atmosphere ,very clean, friendly and peaceful, the food was brilliant and the service excellent could not do enough for you !!bed very comfortable and very good size room we loved the window seats to take in that extra special view !!! We loved the walk on the beach to twyn ,but if that was to far the train station is just 5-10minutes walk from the hotel ,we got a day rover ticket and caught the train for the coast run well worth doing !!we loved the walks along the the jetty and the beach and the lovely other two local pubs and restaurants to stop off at ,very well situated to get around .car parking is a bit of a problem but we were very lucky and got a space ,so just left the car parked for our stay x💕
As this is known as out of season we could park etc easily. Restaurants it the village were had not really got going so we eat in other villages this meant that we used the car more than we wanted to. Avoid the stairs at the penhelyg.
I think it's a delightful place. Dog friendly which is a bonus for me. Beach is good. Good walks. Some nice clothes shops, lovely pet shop and good cafes, pubs. Pretty much everything you need is there. Parking is a pain in high summer but that's pretty standard for most resorts. Coast Takeaway is great and better than your average. Nice to start the day with a coffee from there. Their main restaurant is excellent although well over priced on drinks. Also had good meals at The Dovey, The Britannia and Penhelig Arms
Aberdyfi is a lovely small town. Really nice clean beach, great for walking and a nice small harbour. Advise booking if you want to eat out anywhere regardless of day or time of year! Although the Walkers chip shop does great food and a good selection, nicest chips we've had in a long time!
Pretty small town on the welsh coast, with a holiday feel - even out of the tourist season. The people who live and work there are friendly and helpful. The beech is lovely, and great for walking. I am told that the golf course is good. There are a small variety of interesting shops. The inns serve good "pub grub".
Aberdyfi great place to stay Best experience was taking the train to one stop going north and then walking 4 miles back to Aberdyfi along beautiful sandy beach Nice dinner at Seabreaze Restaurant
Aberdyfi
This was our first stay in a bed and breakfast. The room was awesome, it was very beautiful than a hotel room. Host Linda and Nigel was so friendly and nice. The breakfast that Linda cooked for us was superb. The view from the room was beautiful, felt like to spend whole day in there. Our 6 year old daughter liked it so much. Would like to go in there next time when we visit Wales.
