Very central Friendly staff Nice single rooms

It was what we expected for a quaint cosy room in a small village setting.

It was a lovely pub hotel, the pub itself was very lovely inside and we noticed customers playing games, connect 4 and jenga. Staff were all very nice and pleasant. Our rooms was just right for us and even though it was a pub it was quite. Bed was comfy and the bath was amazing for me as we only have a shower at home

The location is fabulous, right on the river with a lovely tow path walk.

Lovely room, spacious, clean, short walk to town centre with lots of restaurants, pubs & shopping. Also close to walking trails along the canal

Very close to Thorpe park thought would be a dump as so cheap but was fantastic

Everything about this property is lovely. My only regret is not having enough time to be in the room and enjoy it. After traveling the UK for 5 weeks this was my final stay and I got to stay at the best property out of those 5 weeks. Loved it.

Lovely room and very welcoming, helpful staff

Room was really comfortable and super clean with a view overlooking the river. Close to everything with great parking. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We had breakfast and drinks in the bar which were all great too. Would definitely book again.

What a fabulous place to stay, a little bit of luxury to finish our 3 week Europe trip on and it delivered. My husband and I also had some spa services which were divine. The staff were very friendly and service was incredible. We would 100% visit again.

Historic old building, beautifully appointed.

Gentleman on front desk was excellent and very helpful. We didn't have food but bed and shower etc all good.

The customer service was exceptional, the staff were incredible helpful throughout our stay. It really was a team effort, having stayed in many hotels over the years this was by far the best for customer service.

Great for a mini break. Lovely facilities. Room was great with a view of the river.
