United KingdomGreat night stay in a clean and tidy room. The little extras in the room were a treat. Bottles of water with a range of biscuits to go with my tea. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. My dinner was delicious. One of the best burgers I had in a long time. It was cooked fresh. It was cosy and warm sitting near the log burner in the winter months. There was a great atmosphere and the owners are very friendly and met all our requests.

One of the 3 bosses.
Friendls and witty, he made a gentleman’s gesture for me and my family: he made us breakfast for 7H am, without paying for it.
Thought I booked it with but finally..I didn’t.
And he did it twice( we had two separate nights staying).
Really tried to pay for these 2 breakfasts but he refused solemenly.

Alcester is a fascinating town with many ancient buildings...
Alcester is a fascinating town with many ancient buildings and interesting shops. There seemed to be a lot going on for such a small place - concert at the church and another event in a local hall plus private events (wedding reception?) at another venue. All within 50m of each other on the night I visited.

Alcester itself is a delightful village a mini Stratford on Avon without the crowds. Lovely old main street with old buildings and church. The Alcester museum previously visited was very informative. Excellent coffee shop Chapter 23 in the main street

A quaint and friendly village with wonderful walks in the nature reserve along the river. Shopping facilities were great although most shops were small but had a great variety. I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK AGAIN.

The room was clean and bed was comfortable.
The room was clean and bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean and the shower was OK. The check in and out was easy, staff very friendly and helpful. I had an evening meal and breakfast in the pub restaurant, reasonably priced and food good. Altho the pub was noisy and lively the noise didn't travel to the bedroom areas. I didn't see much of the area as it was just an overnight stay but I would go back again. Yes the furbishing's were a little dated, but the staff were lovely, the place was clean and comfortable, and the food good which is the way I prefer it.

It is a perfect location for getting to Stratford Upon Avon.
It is a perfect location for getting to Stratford Upon Avon. Do not miss Bidford Upon Avon which is a short drive from Alcester and boasts 'The Big Meadow', which is excellent for dog walks and has great recreational area for children. Nice local Village tea room as well.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant had a lovely ambience with a place to sit both before and after the meal. I was disappointed to find no information in the room relating to wifi or breakfast times. Consequently we were late for breakfast but we were still served. There was a music duo playing which apparently happens once a fortnight on a Friday. I would definitely reccomend this place.

On my arrival, the staff were very friendly & helpful. The room I stayed in was warm, very clean & the bed very comfortable. The bathroom facilities were very good too. This property is in a good location on the main road, being a short distance from Alcester. The full english breakfast was very well cooked & delicious.

Hi lovely hotel been before very good food very nice staff the guy who I told about the bed and the crack sink was fantastic also was very helpful all our stay as well very happy with him could not have done more for the group of 10 of us not sure of his name but he was eastern European very nice guy.

Staff were excellent (everyone of them), super helpful on the hottest day of the year! Nothing was ever too much trouble. Hotel was clean (immaculate), food was amazing and location was perfect!
