RomaniaThe place was very easy to find and access, with no issues getting there at all. The rooms are incredibly spacious – there’s plenty of room for luggage and to move around freely. The kitchen was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed, and the fact that every room has its own private bathroom is such a wonderful bonus, giving you full comfort and privacy.
Everything feels warm, welcoming and well cared for, and the hosts were lovely and very helpful during our whole stay. We felt right at home and will definitely be coming back again!

Wall paper falling off walls, no shampoo or shower gel to wash. Broken sofa in livingroom. Light in bedroom didn’t work. No tea or coffee or milk available. Curtains falling apart. Pictures on booking.com to what we got was disappointing.

I had a wonderful stay!
I had a wonderful stay! The room was incredibly cosy and spotlessly clean, making it easy to relax right away. The bed was very comfortable, and I slept perfectly each night. The modern toilet downstairs was also a great touch—fresh, well-designed, and always tidy. Overall, a charming and comfortable place that I’d happily stay in again. Highly recommended!

The position of the Hotel was ideal to get to where we needed to be. The Hotel setting was lovely, over the lake.
Also, after being out all day, it was so convenient to just walk over to the Festival leisure park to find somewhere to eat.
A very nice and convenient Hotel.
Harvesters, and Wagamama were both good choices to eat.

The house was amazing.
The house was amazing. The whole house was very clean, a lot of spaces, the bed was very, very comfortable and magnific garden. We enjoyed our stay in the there. I highly recommend this house to anyone who is looking to spend a good holiday in a beautiful place

The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The bed was comfy and the room clean.
Our only issue was the lack of recycling facilities in the room - there only seemed to be a rubbish bin and the loo roll holder is in such a position that it was knocked on the floor every time we sat on the loo!!

Public transport was great.
Public transport was great. Many paved paths 'shared' for walking & cycling. However, unlike the roads there, the paved sidewalks -especially when walking outside of the 'Town Centre,' are often uneven as I found myself being frequently 'tripped-up.'
Also, in some areas, the bushes near the sidewalks haven't been 'tended to' by the city and are often encroaching onto the sidewalks -footpaths, which in turn are 'in-your-face!'
Basildon and the surrounding area has a lot of traffic and a fair amount of graffiti too, along w/ too much litter around.

We stayed here over Christmas and New Year while our son was critically ill in Basildon Hospital, the staff were so nice, they simply could not do enough to help, the food was very good, the rooms were clean and comfortable, all the staff were so helpful. We returned again after our son passed away, honestly they were so sympathetic and accommodating, if I could them a 50 star rating I would. Thanks to all for the kindness shown to us during the most difficult times of our lives, we will never forget the kindness we received.

We stayed for 1 night, clean room and bathroom. Tea coffe facilities in the room is good. There are plenty of parking but you need to register your car and its free.
I just needed a budget hotel for overnight and its good. This is a budget hotel so dont have 5 star expectations.

Very comfortable and host made me feel welcome from the start good parking as in a private enclosure would recommend a stay here and will return when next in the area shops and take aways close by so is transport buses pass just outside into Basildon center
