London Road, Brentwood, CM14 4NR, United Kingdom –
Built in the late 1500s by Henry Roper, an important officer to Catherine of Aragon, this Tudor Manor was owned by many lords. Robert Wright gave the name, the Manor of Mary Green after his bride. Samuel Pepys was a friend of the Wrights and two of Robert and Mary Wright’s descendents, Wilbur and Orvill, were the famous pioneers in aviation.
