Everything about it was fabulous. The staff were very professional and helpful . Breakfast was great. A choice of hot cooked (buffet) English breakfast, continental and variety of breads and fruits.

The endearing happiness, goodwill and earnest desire of the hotel manager to satisfy all his customers’ requests make this hotel worth 10 Stars, in my opinion. - As a global educationalist, I often travel around the world, frequently staying in hotels. I believe the most important criteria are first, a clean room, second, a comfortable bed and third, a quiet atmosphere. This is it. Everything else is of secondary importance. It has been my personal experience that the Hartley Hotel excels in these essential qualities. I paid 45 pounds a night, which reflects the general standard, so do not expect to find the Ritz. But what you will get are these three essential qualities: to rest, sleep well, feel clean, and enjoy your daily adventures around this very great city. Very cosy place and the staff were super friendly/helpful.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and I cannot praise the staff enough for their outstanding service. From the moment I communicated my late arrival at 2:00 AM, they were incredibly accommodating and provided clear instructions to ensure my smooth entry into the property. Upon my arrival, I was welcomed into a cozy and comfortable room that had all the basic necessities I needed for my stay. What truly stood out to me was the dedication of the hotel and kitchen staff. Despite my late arrival, they went out of their way to prepare a special breakfast for me, even though it was after the kitchen's closing hours. Their willingness to accommodate my needs with such warmth made me feel valued as a guest. Additionally, the hotel's location is quite convenient, with a bus stop directly opposite that connects to Stratford Central Station. This made it easy for me to explore the area without any hassle.

The staff is so kind, helpful, and cooperative. The location is excellent as some grocery stores and dining locations are on a very close distance. The room is very clean and airy. The room prices are fair enough with free car park. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay here in the future.

The room was bigger than my expectations. The bathroom wasn't with too many amenities but was also clean. The place is close to Stratford Station definitely worth it for the price!

Spacious room with two well-sized beds, comfortable mattresses and duvets, fresh-coloured linen, clean towels, and a well-maintained bathroom. Convenient location and excellent value for a few nights’ stay. Hotel Staff was very supportive, take heavy suitcases to our rooms.

Friendly staff! Very clean room and bath! Fridge and two fans in the room. Very quiet neighbourhood, singing birds in the trees.

We’re very happy with our stay at this hotel :all areas were clean and welcoming with cute Christmas decorations in the lobby. Every member of the staff we met was very friendly and helpful: gentleman and two ladies at the front desk and lady from housekeeping . Room was big enough with comfy bed and spacious shower in the bathroom. Hotel is not strictly in the center of London ( 4th zone ) but it was very easy to get there by tube and bus with bus stops within few minutes walk . There is big Tesco store within like 5 mins walk so good for stocking up on drinks and snacks. We didn’t use breakfast option because we ate out but I used Ibis breakfast buffet option once at different location and it was very good value for the money so I’m sure it would be same at this one :) We would definitely recommend stay at this branch ! :)
